It's been almost two weeks since that happened. Since then, Renjun couldn't stop thinking about the guy. Sometimes, he would find himself staring in the nothingness, zoning out in the most random times.

He didn't know why. Or he knew but he just didn't want to admit it to himself. Perhaps, as crazy as it sounded, there was something in him that was missing the guy who he had just met in two days. He couldn't believe himself.

Because seriously, why would he miss someone who he just met in two days? Someone who had the habit to annoy people, especially him because, according to the guy, he's cute when he's mad. Someone who, he refused to admit, has a bright presence. Why?

He sighed in his seat, for the nth time today and it's just almost lunch break. He didn't even know if he'd been sighing since morning, but who cares, honestly.

The bell rung, a sign that it was already the end of the class. The professor dismissed them, bid goodbye properly before leaving. Renjun just spend the entire period sighing instead of actually listening to the discussion. He sighed once again.

"Renjun!" He flinched slightly when Yangyang suddenly called him. He turned to him and glared. "I noticed you've been sighing. Is there any problem?"

Renjun managed to deny. "I'm fine."

Yangyang pouted and nodded, "Okay, if you say so. By the way, can I sit with you at the canteen? I promise, I'll behave."

He just nodded before taking his lunch, which his mom made for him, from his bag. He stood up from the seat and left the classroom with Yangyang following him behind.

When they arrived at the canteen, Renjun bumped into someone, because he was looking down while walking. He lifted his head to apologize but when he saw the person he bumped into, he felt like his throat dried up and he suddenly couldn't speak. The person bowed and apologized before walking passed him, as if he didn't know Renjun.

Renjun was dazed when he walked to the nearest vacant table. He sat down, and Yangyang sat across him.

"Wasn't that-"

"Haechan." he muttered.

"Oh, I didn't know his name. It's been a while since I last saw that guy. Was he courting you, too?"

Renjun shook his head. "He never was."

"Oh." Yangyang nodded slightly. "I'll just go buy myself a lunch. Eat well, Jun."

He sighed again, heavily, before opening his lunch box. He just wished to get Haechan out of his freaking mind. He was so confused about his feelings for the guy.

Classes ended and he was currently at the waiting bench near the gate because he agreed for Yangyang, who went to the canteen to buy some snack for them to eat while walking, to walk him home.

He fidgetted on his fingers as he waited impatiently. He wanted to go home as soon as possible and flop himself on his bed. He was so tired.

He swung his feet back and forth like a child and tapped his thighs several times. He was about to stand up to follow at the canteen when someone sat beside him. He turned to look and widen his eyes.

The guy had a lollipop in his mouth and seemed to be texting someone on his phone. He immediately looked away when he heard Yangyang called him.

Finally.

"Hey, I'm sorry, the line was long. So many students buying." Yangyang laughed. "Anyway, I bought your favorite seaweed snack."

He grabbed the snack from the younger's grip. "Thanks! Let's go?"

Yangyang nodded and wrapped his arm around the older's shoulder. Renjun just let him.

He tear open the snack as soon as they left the school. Yangyang sipped on the smoothie he was holding.

"Hey, Renjun." Renjun just hummed. "Thank you for giving me a chance."

He looked at Yangyang and chuckled. "I wasn't giving you a chance."

"Oh." Disappointment was obvious in his suitor's tone but he managed to smile. "Okay, then. Thank you for finally letting me walk you home. But why?"

Renjun sighed. "I just wanted a company today. I'm trying to distract myself. I've been thinking about a lot of things lately, it's so stressful."

"Ah, well, if you have any problem or you want any advice, I can try to help."

"Thanks a lot, Yangyang. You're a nice person. I'm sorry I can't like you back."

Yangyang laughed softly, shaking his head. "That's fine, I guess. But I hope one day you give yourself a chance to like someone, even if it's not me. Seriously, because you deserve to be loved. You're such a lovely, Renjun."

Renjun's mind suddenly went to one particular guy. If Haechan stopped himself and didn't punch Yangyang at that time, would he ever meet him by any chance?
