Abandon Ship (Kokosara / Sarakoko)

hi guys i'll post ch2 soon i've been busy and i want it to be good so i've been on the tjinking grind fr

tonight.
the watatsumi resistance marches towards the stormy sands of inazuma. sangonomiya kokomi, the leader of the army, stands at the front leading them.
seeing a small girl with fluffy pink hair lead an army isn't an everyday thing.
so when kujou sara sees her she's a little surprised. she knew of kokomi, of course, but not of her appearance. it's nice. soft.
kokomi spots general kujou sara at the head of her forces, a tall woman with dark hair.
they both look at each other (in the most intimidating way possible though).
the watatsumi resistance and inazuma army stand at opposite ends of the island they find themselves on.
still. not a sound besides the soldiers breathing.
panic washes over both sides, but they hide it. the resistance stands a small chance against the inazuma army, but they're fighting for a good cause.
"men," sara doesn't break eye contact with kokomi, "forward," she commands. around her, her men herd towards the watatsumi resistance.
"charge!" kokomi hollers. next to her is a short man with dog ears, assumably a general, who leads the army forwards as she flees another way. where is she going?
kujou sara throws her thoughts away and lunges forward to attack the soldiers coming forwards.
ok basically they fight and shit, idk how to properly describe battle scenes but u kinda get it.

"comrades, fall back!" kokomi hollers from up above, and her men immediately do.
sara orders the same. both armies are falling quickly. the pressure on them does them no better. the watatsumi resistance flees behind a tall, jagged rise in the island. kokomi is not only the leader of the resistance and in charge of all the affairs at watatsumi island but is the head healer of the resistance. of course there are other healers, but there's no other healer like her. any alive soldiers she immediately restores to prepare her army to continue fighting. a while later they rush back out to meet head on with the kujou clan and friends. but the inazuma army isn't ready yet. they have medical assistance, but they don't have sangonomiya kokomi. they are slower. watatsumi men purge some of the wounded and commotion erupts. some of the healers are taken out even.
the fight seems to last forever idk cant write war shit why am i doing this. love kokosara. ok anyway.
after the battle
kokomi sits at her desk, composing a written statement of goods the resistance is lacking that the inazuma army on the other hand has access to. yes, she's a master strategist which puts them in equal footing, but you can't fight against an army with endless supplies with wooden poles.
sara, on the other hand, is storming through the city in order to find more healers. more thinkers. more people like sangonomiya kokomi.

after three restless battles between the inazuma army and watatsumi resistance, there seems to be no end in sight. kujou sara decides to launch a sneak attack on a small section of watatsumi island with a few of her best soldiers, and a handful of mediocre ones. she leads her troop to a small camp near the water, resting under a tall waterfall. she signals her men forward. they creep closer. the first line fires arrows. they slice through the air, finding themselves stuck in various objects (including a few soldiers).
the rest of the men rush forward.
the unsuspecting watatsumi resistance scrambles to grab their weapons and rush out of their abodes to fight the people in front of them. hell is breaking loose. and of course kokomi and gorou happen to be at the scene too. gorou immediately joins the fight, and kokomi does her water shit. she seems to be sucking them into an endless ocean that heals her men. and now she's standing on water. what the fuck is wrong with this bitch.
it's kind of mesmerizing though. she's pretty.
now isn't the time for that, though. sara charges into battle, heading straight towards kokomi.
kokomi feels a puncture in her leg and looks down to see kujou sara's arrow in her thigh. she resists a scream, but with the pain in her leg, she drops. hee healing capabilities are limited when she faces an injury halfway through.
"your excellency!" another healer comes forward while gorou fights off any others that decide to hurt kokomi.
sara runs towards hee next victim, the fight pushing forward. the men of the watatsumi resistance are at a disadvantage. sangonomiya kokomi has gone over plans for an instance like this, but it's still shocking none the less. kujou sara takes her aim behind a boulder. she positions her bow towards the upper half of her target. the soft wood brushes against her glove when she slowly pulls the arrow back.
ping!
she takes fire. the bow flies through the air and is coming straight for kokomi.
