27. Earn It.

Namjoon awakes hearing noises coming from downstairs. He was so sure that he didn't inform any of his housemaids to come over yet.

Before reaching the downstairs he took his time to check on Taehyung's room but boy wasn't there.

Checking the bathroom next Namjoon took his sleepy steps down by checking the time on the wall clock hanging infront of him. It's 7.10 AM. Since blinds didn't roll up yet, inside the house was dark.

Opening his mouth to call out his son's name alpha took a few steps down only to meet a sight he didn't expect to witness. Taehyung, who was still on his pj's sitting on the pantry top crossing his legs. Boy was cutely occupied with separating grapes from a big bowl from time to time stopping what he was doing to ask random questions from the older male who was facing back to the stairway.

"Papa..............."

"Yes, love".

"I want pancakes with lots of choco sauce".

"Oh, you want? Wait we'll see we have things to make those".

"Oh, Tae I guess we have to go with bread toast for the day sweety. Seems we got to do some grocery shopping".

The pouty boy had nodded his head earning a kiss on his cheek from the omega who was cutting some greens for the salad.

Unconsciously a smile had crept on alpha's face seeing how happy his boy was. Namjoon felt he need to see this Taehyung every day. He saw his genuinely happy son after so many years.

This is the second day Jin and Jungkook staying at Namjoon's house placed in Seoul. Namjoon was the one Jin had been contacted after he couldn't reach Hoseok that night. As an omega Jin was so terrified from the occurred situation not knowing what to do at that late-night hour with the sickly crying pup. But being a single alpha parent for years Namjoon had handled the things mindfully being careful enough to save Jin from going through a mental breakdown.

Taking the last step down, alpha waits at the kitchen doorway just taking another few minutes to enjoy what he is seeing at the moment.

Namjoon was seeing such a scene after 3 years in this household. When his ex was with them he was also used to place the baby Taehyung on the countertop when he was occupied with kitchen chores. But Namjoon admired how different these two omegas deal with kids. Even though Taehyung was his own child his other parent had never shown such heartiest behavior with the boy. 

So it's obvious why this little human was this happy when he is sticking with his best friend's omega parent who never treats him differently than he treats his own son.

"Appa gummonin........"

"Good morning buddy, did you sleep well?"

"Yes, Koo and I cuddles with papa last night".

"Good morning Namjoon. He was afraid to sleep alone last night. I guess that's because it's been a few months he's been here".

Jin has quickly reasoned the situation as he wasn't that confident about what alpha's reaction could be.

"Good morning Jin. Hope he didn't trouble you a lot".

"Appa nu.......... um a good boy. Aren't I papa ?".

Omega has giggled feeling small pair of hands tangled around his neck.

"Of course, Taetae is the best boy". Jin boop the little one's nose playfully.

Namjoon had poured a glass of water ruffling the boy's hair who was stuck his tongue out showing how seriously he was immersed in his little job.

Jin had casually pushed a cup of coffee to Namjoon's hands picking the boy in his arms to put him down.
