the next day i woke up and eddie was gone again. i sat up and walked downstairs to see him sat on the couch watching TV. i go to cuddle next to him and he puts his arm around me
''morning darling.'' he says softly.
''morning. what time did you get up?'' i ask
''about half an hour ago''
''okay.''
''its my birthday in 2 days you know'' i tell him.
''yeah i know, you don't think i forgot did you?'' he says, i chuckle
''you never do.'' i reply, smiling at him.
''what do you wanna do for your birthday?'' he asks
''i just want to have a few drinks with the boys, nothing too special''
"okay my love'' he says softly. his voice gave me butterflies in my stomach. he felt so warm.
''when are we gonna tell them?'' i ask
''we can tell them on your birthday if you want?''
''sure that works'' i say. i love how sweet he was.
