His Pov right after he had been shot:
One song raced through my mind as I said my goodbyes to my family, Phoenix...I loved you so much I pray that you find who did this to me and take vengeance by throwing whoever did this in jail. My kids... Ari and Tim... I don't have much time but I hope you know I loved you so dearly. You all deserve the world and one day I hope you get what you all want. I know I'm dying now...I hope I make it through this.
As I stared at his blank face...I was in pure shock. I was not sure what to do. I looked down, there was blood everywhere, he had been shot. Directly in the abdomen. I stared blankly, so many emotions had rushed through I couldn't help but hug him down on my knees crying. How was I going to tell the kids? What was I going to tell the kids? Over and over those questions raced through my mind.
Ari had wondered what happened to Phoenix, her dad. Her and Tim were left alone in the house without either dad. Phoenix barged into the house with tears in his eyes and ran up the stairs. Ari and Tim followed him and wondered what had happened. As they got up the stairs to hear screams of pain and sorrow of their dad. They themselves had started to cry and went to their dad. As Phoenix had explained what happened to their other dad. They too let of screams of sadness and sorrow, having flashbacks of their dad.
I have to give credit to my friend @ohlookitsariii. Who inspired a character and a story this chapter was basically written by her so props.
