Chapter 4: "Something Strange"

It was all going normal for about a month, AS used to flirt with HM (for mission jeet), PS used to tease KS, all the cases were also being solved and RS used to pick and drop PS, he used to talk to almost everyone. All the members of MPT had a good relationship with RS except HM.

One evening, It was raining heavily in Lucknow. HM went home earlier as her mother set another date with a man for her marriage. At around 6:30, RS came to pick PS up. When they were returning, he asked PS:
RS: wese aaj aapki Maddam sir nahi aai?
PS: Aai thi kyu?
RS: nahi aaj dikhi nahi na, toh ti si liye poocha.
PS: oooh, wo aaj ladka dekne gaee hai.
After listening to that, RS held brake very tightly and said, "KYA?"

PS: haan, kyu kya huwa? Aur brake kyu lagaya ittni zoor se?
RS: s... sorry, woh galti se lag gaya. (started the bike)
PS: aur isme chokne waali kya baay hai? unka bhi ghar basna chahiye.
RS: haan.

It was almost 8'o clock but still, KS hadn't reached home. They tried to call her but due to heavy rainfall, there was no network connection. Many roads in the city were blocked due to heavy rainfall. KS's husband was also in another city for work. RS was going to go in thana to search KS when KS arrived with someone in the back seat. That, someone, was none other than HM. KS had worn the raincoat and HM had just covered her half body in the raincoat KS had worn but still all wet. Both of them hurriedly went inside and PS brought 2 towels and covered both of them with each.

PS: Jai hind Maddam sir!
HM: Jaa.. Jai hind!
PS: aap log baith jaeeye pehle. (and made them sit)
Both of them were trembling because of the cold. (HM had the same look of ep 154 but all wet)
PS: Aab batiye huwa kya?
HM: wo... hum dinner karke ghar wapas aarahe the, l...lekin rasta poora jaam hogaya tha aur gaadi bhi puncture hogaee aur hum phasgaye.
KS: jab hum ghar wapas aarahe the, humne inhe dekha aur yaha leke aagaye.
PS: ye sahi kiya aapne. Pehle aap dono jaake kapde badal lijiye warna sardi lag jayegi.

KS: haan.
HM: aak minute, hum kya pehne?
KS: hamare kapde shayad aapko aayenge nahi aur amma ka toh... baat na kare toh hi behtaar hai.
PS: aap kya hume taana maar rahi hai? bhooliye mat thaana nahi ye ghar hai. Yaha par hum aapke senior hai.
KS: Haan, toh kisne bola tha aapko poora sahar la golgappa thusne ko? Aur thoda kaam thusti toh shayad aajata na Maddam sir ko aapka kapda.
PS: aa... h.height bhi toh dekhiyena agar hum dubl.....

RS: SHAAANT! (both became quite) kabhi toh time dekhake baat kigiye aap log! Aur Karishma tum jaao kapde badal lo. Mere paas shayad kuch hai, inko fit aane waala.
KS: aapke paas ladki ke kapde kaha se aaye? (suspiciously)
RS: wo...a... meri.. meri cousin ki!  Roshni didi ki kapde.
PS: tumhare paas uske kapde kese aaye? (suspiciously)
RS: woh aur jijaji aae the na aak hafte ke liye mumbai unnki meeting thi! toh unka aak bag chut gaya tha. Toh woh shayad inhe thik aajaye. Mai ayese aaraha tha. (doing that hand step)
PS: Achha, lekin us...
RS: aur kitne sawaal amma, dekhiye indono ki haalat. Karishma jaaona change karlo thand lag jaegi. Aur mai aapke liye kapde leke aata hoon, 2 minute. Mai aaya (and went to bring the cloth)

Even when he went, PS looked at him in a very doubtful way.
HM: k..kya huwa Pushpa Ji, aap unki taraf ayse kyu dekh rehe hai.
PS: kuch toh gadbad hai. Aap ko nahi lagta Maddam sir.
HM: Mujhe toh nahi lagta. Aap ko kyu lagta hai.
PS: Roshni ne kabhi bataya nahi uska bag choot gaya.
HM: aab shadi thodi hai jo saab ko batate phire. Bag choot gaya, isme batane waali kya baat hai.
PS: lagta hai hum kuch jyada hi soch rahe hai.
HM: haan, Dekhiye aagaye.
RS: ye lijiye.
HM: Thank you.
PS: aap hamare kamre mai badal ligiye. ye right waala hamara kamra hai.
HM: ji. (and went to change)

Now PS and RS were alone in the hall. She was still looking at RS in a very doubtful way.
RS: kya huwa?
PS: kya?
RS: amma aap mujhpe saq kaar rahe ho?
PS: humm...
RS: humm, kya humm. Mai aap ko ayesa lagta hoon kya?
PS: jawaan ho, kuwaare ho, acche khase dekhte ho, kya pata kahin Mumbai mai hi girlfriend banake rakhiho.
RS: cake thodi hai jo banake rakhunga. Aur time bhi toh hona chahiyena. Yaha khud ke liye mushkilse time milta hai aur aap logo k.......
PS: acha, sorry. Thik hai maan gaye nahi hai tumharo koi.
RS: humm. Wese aaj khane mai kya hai?
And the conversation went on...
