Chapter 8

Celeste woke up more energized than usual. She was about to sit up but felt a weight stop her from any movement.

That when she had the relocation of last night, she smiled, without having anything making her laugh in anyway. She laid back down and slowly reached for her phone, as she checked the time, she felt a wave of relief with an unknown origin wash over her.

She had a good 3 hours before she had to get ready for school and for her, getting ready for school wouldn't be that long.

'I am sorry Celeste for my ignorance, please forgive me.' Enchantress spoke, Celeste wasn't even mad that Enchantress finally decided to speak, on top of that, she hadn't even thought about Enchantress at all, and that is what disturbed Celeste the most.

The one person she relied on the most wasn't the person she thought of for hours on end.

'Enchantress, hey look I'm sorry for what I said, I didn't mean to silence you are get angry at you it was just Mitch being Mitch again.' Celeste tried to make an excuse.

'No worries deary.' Enchantress replied, Celeste could tell that Enchantress had a genuine smile of her face just by her tone of voice.

The corner of Celeste's lips curved upward until she quickly realized the predicament she in. Celeste didn't want to seem rude for moving while he was asleep, but also wanted to get something to eat.

She twirled her head on his thigh which seemed to wake him up. She mental hit herself, trying to find an excuse for waking him up without having to apologize.

She quickly pretended to just be waking up to make the situation less awkward but knowing Izuku. It was going to be awkward regardless.

Izuku jolted at the slight movement Celeste made, He let out a wincing noise, or a noise of shock. It was a little hard to decipher the sounds that came from him.

She tried to make her waking up seem as genuine as possible by adding a little stretch, which was a little difficult because of the fact that there was half of someone's body weight on her.

'I know for a fact that you two didn't do anything, mostly because I literally live in your mind and can see, hear, and feel anything you do.' Enchantress said knowingly.

'No shit sherlock, you can literally force my body into hibernation, so I think I would know.' Celeste said in a matter-of-factly tone.

Izuku froze up again when he noticed that Celeste was awake, and also thought that he had woken her up. "I AM SO SORRY!" He said defensively, as he began to spout nonsense and apologize in her ear.

"No. no, it's alright, I was already awake, I wanted to make it seem less awkward, but failed doing so, so... Morning?" She said throwing all three of them in a awkward silence. She looked outside and still realized the sun was just barely coming up, she arose from his lap and began to walk to the kitchen, watching Izuku cautiously become ever so slightly aware of his surroundings.

'How will this boy ever become a hero?' Celeste could feel Enchantress shake her head in disappointment.

'Give him some time, I know I shouldn't be the one telling you this because you have hindsight, but I know for sure that he will do some pretty amazing damn things in the mere future, so be patient.' Celeste said, defending him was becoming like a third nature to him.

"Hey, um, C-Celeste?" Izuku said rubbing the back of his neck testing the waters.

Celeste could feel he was going to ask for something so before even thinking she was right in front of him with a green electric toothbrush in her hand.
