Kageyama POV)

When I was lying in bed, I got uncomfortable so I rolled over and I accidentally touched Hinata.

He flinched a little, I didn't think much of it until I notices he didn't just flinch at that slight touch.

Every time there was a crack sound in the room or the wind outside, Hinata would flinch.

SLAM
A door slammed shut down the hall

"Ah!" Hinata screamed and scrambled close to me gripping my arm.

"Hinata, are you alright?" I said in a soft tone.

"Y-yeah, I'm o-okay. W-why?" He said in a shaky voice.

"Your flinching at everything" I reply.
"Are you scared because of the movie?"

"..."

"Hinata?"

"Y-y-yeah, I'm a b-bit s-scared" he replied burying himself deeper into the blankets.

"Hey, kags? Are you scared of anything" he asked out of the blue.

"...yeah...I'm a bit scared of rejection...and hurting others" I say shyly.

"Rejection of what?" He asked curiosity in his voice.

"O-of B-b-being g-gay," I say whispering. "I'm scared that you and the team won't want to be near me again"

"Aww kags don't worry about that, I support you in every way. Plus now I'm, not I'm not scared of being rejected by you too" he said smiling at me.

"Why would you be scared of rejection?" I said interested to know.

"In middle school, I had this friend, we were best friends. But once I came out to her as bisexual, I found out she was homophobic and she started... To call me mean names" he sounded like he was going to cry.

I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a big squeeze.

When I pulled away he was still in my arms but more like snuggling into my chest.

"Thank you kags, I needed that," he said sniffling a bit.

"Hinata, any time you need or want a hug I'll always be here to give it to you. Anytime, anywhere. You don't know how much you mean to me" I said to him followed by a yawn.

"You mean a lot to me too kageyama. What's the time now kageyama?"

"11:23, we really need to sleep," I said followed by another yawn.

Then Hinata yawned.

Soon enough they were both were out like a light, with Hinata nuzzled into Kageyama's chest.
