Chapter One-Last Day of School

My alarm made that annoying sound that always have woken me up. But today was the only day my alarm sound didn't actually annoy me. That was because today was the last day of school and I got my trainers license and my first Pokémon.

I got up out of bed lazily. It was a cold morning because it was in the middle October. "Hay Jake time to get up. Today is the big day." My mother said in a happy voice.

"I'm already awake mom." I shouted back at her.

"Make sure you put on the outfit me and your dad found for you. And don't forget to fix your hair."

"K" I said trying to find the clothes I was going to put on.

I knew my mom was sad because this is the last day she see me for a wile. I went to the bathroom slowly to go and get dressed and fix my hair.

When I got done brushing my teeth and wetting my hair down, I went down stairs to see what was for breakfast.

"Hey sport. How are you doing this morning." Said my dad while he was looking at the news paper.

" I'm doing just fine. Mom what are we having for breakfast?" I said while trying to find my book bag.

"Eggs and bacon." She responded.

I sat down and ate breakfast in silence. The last day I thought to myself. When I got done eating I told my parents that I loved them and went to the bus stop. Today we are going to take a personality test which will decide what type of pokemon our first Pokémon should be. To be honest I did not like that they got to choose what kind of pokemon we should start with. Oh well.

I stopped at the bus stop and waited for the school bus to arrive with a few other people. They where mumbling about how they get to sleep in tonight. After about 10 minutes the bus stopped in front of us. We got on and headed for school.

When we got there the intercom turned on and said "last year students please report to the cafeteria for your testing rules." It turned off and I went to the cafeteria doors. When I walked in the principle of the school was standing on small podium at the end of the cafeteria. The cafeteria smelled like chips, soda, and Pokémon food for the new Pokémon everybody will get.

"Ok kids everybody take a seat and I will explain the test. First off you will get one hour to complete the test. The test will need the following a pin, paper, erasers, and your Poké gear. When the test is over your teacher will determine which type of Pokémon you can choose from. There are 10 different types you can get and they are fire, water, grass, normal, bug, rock, ice, electric, ghost, and dragon. Please proceed to you assigned room." He finished and walked back to the office.

We all lined up to go to a test room. I'm going to be honest with you I had Butterfree in my stomach. We walked for what seemed like 10 minutes to get to our assigned class rooms. We stopped at a long narrow hallway with 50 doors. The teachers said names of a list and when they called mine I looked at the room I was going into. And with a deep breath I twisted the door knob.
