Waking up to wolf snoring is fine, but waking up to a wolf laying on top of you is not fine.
"Nala!"  I whispered shouted, a growl rumbled in his chest as he rolled off of me,

        "you're so heavy" I teased and ran my fingers through his fur,
"Artemis it's time to go visit an old friend of ours"
I smiled and stood to my feet "I'm coming father" I ran my fingers through my hair stressfully, Nala jumped to his feet.
"Good to see you up mate" i laughed and walked outta my room, Nala of course was following me.

I brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. My hair was frizzy but I brushed it out, "48,49,50" I placed my brush on the rim of the sink and quickly got dress.
I had a blue tie dye shirt that went above my knees, I slipped on black socks before putting on my ankle boots that were all black with black frills on one side.

"You ready?"
"Yes!" I called running out, I looked back at Nala. I sighed. I kneeled down in front of him and patted his head,
"you're going to have to stay here nala, keep the pack safe okay?" I kissed his forehead and he licked my cheek in return. I ran out the door after my father, noticing he was already gone.

It was a race, we both rushed through the forest head on heels, I smiled at this father and daughter time.
I was surprisingly fast which wasn't normal but my father acted as if it was something everyone can do.
"We're here" my father announced, I gazed up at the house and wow was it big. We knocked on the door, a tall man answered probably in his late twenties. Short brown hair and blazing green eyes, he was wearing a black shirt and ripped jeans. His eyes widen in surprised and pulled me into a huge hug
"it's good to see you guys!" He cheered, he swung me from side to side as we hugged. He finally let me go and hugged my father,

"daustin come down!" He yelled, it's been years since I seen him. He probably doesn't remember me. And here he came, his hair was messy and a dark chocolate brown, fierce light green eyes.

"Daustin you remember Artemis and talha right?"
He looked at me and then my father before shaking his head, he caught my eye we had this staring contest for a few seconds. I was the first to break it,

"come in! Come in!"
Me and my father slowly walked in, it was nice and cozy. Very big in the inside,
"oi" I muttered looking around , "it's really something" I smiled a little,
Daustin smiled half hearted, "i'll show you around" he nodded his head towards the ends of the hall, I nodded and letted him guide me through the house. His voice was soft and deep but soothing almost like a lullaby,

"so your dad and friends with mine?" He asked looking back at me with curious eyes,
"Yeah, when we were little our dads met at the beach, they started to talk about. Who knows what while we played in the ocean"
I truthfully said,
"Artemis right?" He asked
"Yes"
"Interesting name" he smiled
I returned the smile "thanks"

Me and Daustin were playing in his room, I was actually surprised to see that his room was very...neat and just wow.
It was breathtaking, I was sad that I had to go but I was planning to come back tomorrow.

Chapter two;

      It's already been five weeks after I finally got to see the smiths. Me and Daustin become very close almost brother and sister but it felt like something more.
     I was sitting on the porch swing with Daustin, "so what's school do you attend?" I asked, keeping my eyes on the blue sky ahead.
"Springfield High, it's an okay school... I guess" he shrugged,

I laughed "what is it about the school that makes it 'okay'" I glanced at him to see his expression but his face was tight,

"just a lot of things happening, there's been lots of reports of people going missing and then their found dead." H explained and I gasp in horror.
"That's horrible" I stammered and sighed.
