I sat at the bus stop waiting for him... " did he miss the bus, or is it running late? Maybe he spent another day with his boyfriend..." Then my phone rings, breaking me from my thoughts, I reach my hand into my pocket to see the name" Hiroyuki" come up on the screen as I answer. "Hey Hiro what's up?" His voice came in faint and weak sounding barely audible, " Ken... please hurry... Bus crashed.. the driver is dead.. I - I - I'm dying ''''WHAT!?! WHERE?!?" his voice sounding weaker and weaker by the minute as he spoke " my guest 10 miles out of the city," I quickly answered to that statement with, " okay Hiroyuki don't die on me yet please" I hung up and started running, thank the heavens for my genes making me faster than an average human or anthro. I got to the bus in 10 minutes just to see him on the ground bleeding out,dying, and judging by the gash on his chest I knew it was beyond repair." HIROYUKI!!" I ran up to his side and held his hand in my metal hand. His brown eyes were already turning grey as he looked at me" Ken-san.. I am glad you're here to hear my dying words and wish" I tried to choke back my tears " shh don't talk like that," I said to which he replied, " please return to Waterfront tell my juu - San, Juuichi, that I am gone. Give him this jacket.. V - Vo - vow that you would love him like I do..." I let my tears fall onto his chest and face as I spoke my last sentence that he will ever hear, " I vow." He smiled and brought his hand to my face and wiped my tears as he spoke his last words, " thank you Okami- sama" then his hand fell and his soul left his body. I let out a howl of sorrow as I picked his body up and dug a small grave. On the stone it read " Here lies Hiroyuki. Loving friend caring brother" I sat there for hours grieving till my tears ran dry. I then got up and picked up the jacket he had left me to return to his love. "Here we go." I put it on and I smelt the scent for miles and I started to walk. Three months it took me to get to the village of waterfront. "Welcome back home...The scent has gotten a lot stronger, he must be near," with that I saw the bear that matched the scent. " Here goes nothing..JUUICHI-SAMA." The bear turned and looked at me blankly with a ,"hmm," my heart was racing as I walked to him. He was just like Hiro said, tall for his age and muscle gut, and damn cute! "I brought a message from Hiroyuki... He wants you to have this," I held out the jacket and thought of a quick lie, " his dad is allergic to bear fur.." I bit my tongue till I tasted blood, "Hiroyuki.... Thank you but how do you know me um..?" I quickly looked up and bowed "Ken Wolf, I used to live here, moved at the age of five then met Hiro-san. Been friends since, do you kno-" He cuts me off mid sentence, " Ken Wolf? Torio-san always talks about a red furred okami named that." I sigh and raise my paw " That would be me.." Torahiko Ooshima,a tiger anthro who is loud and just happens to be my best friend before Hiro.... The bears deep and gentle voice brought me back out of my thoughts, " come by the ramen shop in thirty minutes." I nod then my grey eyes went a deep blue in sorrow, OH MY GOD I LIED!! How could I do that, oh God Hiro would be turning in his grave! My phone rings and I answer it to hear a male tenor voice. " Hey Ken!" I let out a soft sigh " hello Tora.." At once his voice got faster, " OH MY GOD SHIRANUI!! Long time no see buddy!! Head on in old buddy, why didn't you tell me you were comin back?!?!" "OK OK!! Calm your fur ya hyper tiger!!" With that I hung up and walked in, " SURPRISE!!,'' To much of my surprise I took a step back as my wrist blades flicked out, but once I saw what was going on they slid back in with a shhhk. "WELCOME HOME," Torahiko shouts as he is clearly standing beside me to which I glared at him and yelled back twice as loud, " YOU KNOW I AM STANDING RIGHT HERE RIGHT?!?! SO THERE IS NO NEED TO BE SCREAMING IN MY GODDAMN EAR!!!!" His ears fold back for just a second and then he laughs and says, "well allow me to introduce you to the gang," before he could even speak another word i stepped in, " Judging on the people here we have; Tatsuki Midoriya, Soutarou Touno, Shin Kuroi, Shun Kodori, Kouya Aotsuki,Juuichi Mikazuki, and Kyouji Takahara." They all looked at me as Tatsuki was drinking nonstop. " What about me?" A dog like raccoon said, " ahh yes i forgot the famous photographer, Konosuke Kuri." He laughs and quickly as a picture of me as Tatsuki drunkenly walks to me with the smell of sake on his breath " Waddasayyoukissmeh?" "He was right, you do get pervy when you are drunk and is that dragon fruit?" The tiger nodded to which I replied " TORA you know i get drunk off those!!" He laughs as Juu-sama turns and blushes and whispers, "it was my idea to bring them......." "Oh come on ya big flu-" before he could finish Juuichi judo threw Tora into the wall making me let out a small whimper and making my head pound. "Juu-sama," I said with my heart in my throat. He looks at me with a blank stare, just like Hiroyuki says, Juuichi hides his emotions well but I smell the anger in him. "What is it Okami?" His stare burns into me like my mom's morning sun, I gulp and hide behind Tatsuki and say, "P-p-p-please calm down. " Kouya quickly adds , " Ya man you're scaring the guests of honor!" Shin scuffs, "well buffon-san asked for it," "ju-samaa outside please?" He followed me outside and said "I'm sorry for acting like that but that damn cat gets on my nerves," "Believe me I know!" I chuckle as I continue, " but do you know where a quiet place to set up a home is? A place with nature? Also I will need a place to stay for tonight," I said with a jump in my voice as the sound of thunder rolled over the plain. " One, yes I do it's near the river," he looks away trying to hide his blush. "Hiroyuki," I thought, " Did you and Juuichi do it at this place? You sly dog you!" He clears his throat which pulls me from my thoughts, " as of a place to stay the night mine is that a problem, wolf?" He crosses his arms and raises an eyebrow, " no not at all!!" I reply as another roll sounds. We headed back into the party and we partied till the storm was right above us. We said our goodbyes and Juuichi and I headed back to his place full speed, " mom this better be a powerful demon you are fighting cause ya know i hate thunder!" " What was that?!" Juuichi called from the porch, "Nothing," I entered the house and he led me to his room, to which he got into only his fundoshi making me blush, " He is even sexier with only his underwear on!" Once more the crack of thunder is heard as I strip to only my boxer briefs making the bear smile a bit , "climb in this once you will sleep in my bed." I let out a soft whimper as I nod and climb into his bed smelling honey on him. His big strong arms wrapped around me, as if he was holding someone he loved. "So safe and warm! I want to stay here." I thought as we both drifted into slumber.
