That Escalated Quickly

He invited her over, they walked into a room of his house.
They were in an empty room, only a few furniture pieces.
"Hello" she said.
"Hi" he said back.
The look they shared was unexplainable. They were meant for each other.
"I love you" he said, almost like it's been wanting to escape his mouth forever.
"I-" she was lost in words.
She than continued.
"I don't like you." She started again,
"Like At all." She finished
They are no longer meant for each other.
He's devastated.
She ran off to another man
