Running... running down the country side searching for one house in particular. He stops dead in his tracks as he looks upon a small, old, shabby house. He slowly turns his eyes towards the two baskets that he was holding. Tears come to his eyes as he watches the two children sleeping. He sets down the basket down on the stone steps, Tears start to roll down his face as he kneels down and says in a gentle but strong whisper "Be strong for we will meet again... grow strong, fast, and wise." He strokes his sleeping sons cheeks. "One day you all will rule this kingdom, and when that day comes... I hope that I will be there to see you... Fare we'll my Sons... When the time comes I will call you to your destiny." He stood and reluctantly knocked on the door and ran... A plump woman came out of the door and looked down at the two boys. "Oh good heavens!" She shouts "Paul come here quick!" "What do you want Marry?" Paul responds. "Just get over here!" Marry scolds. Paul sighs and stands up and walks to the door. "A basket... you made me get up from my chair, walk across the room to see a BASKET!" Paul shouts. "No, Paul look in the basket." Marry says with a harsh whisper. Paul opens the basket and smiles. Two baby boys were smiling back at him, wrapped up in a fine wool blanket. They both looked similar but had their differences. They both have light brown hair, but one had dark brown eyes and one had bright blue eyes. "There's a note!" Mary yelps. the note reads
Dear Paul and Mary Raven
I am truly sorry for the in-conceive, but I ask that you take care of my two sons. Teach them humility, truth, justice, and what is right. Their Mother died at childbirth, leaving me two sons to care for. In 18 years time I will call them to their destiny to rule this kingdom. Until than I will wait for them to return.
Sincerely,
King William 111
(P.S their names are Elijah and James)Mary and Paul looked at each other and they took the basket in the shabby old house, and closed the door.
