As Boruto and Shikadai are running through the village, while jumping on and off stuff as some of the villagers say "What the-!" or "Hey!" as the two run past them. "Wait up, Boruto! Is it really that bad?1" Shikadai says as he catches up to Boruto on the rooftops "Yeah, it's bad. Really bad!" Boruto says as the two keep on running.
(With Naruto and Shikamaru)
"What kept you so long, Lord Hokage? There's hardly anytime left." Shikamaru asks as the two of them approach the door to the Hokage's office "It's tomorrow, huh...." Naruto says "Please hurry, or you're not going to get things done in time for the entrance ceremony." Shikamaru says as he opens the door and a stack of papers falls over "Guess I'll be here all night again." Naruto says.
(With Boruto and Shikadai)
as the two of them are sitting on top of the train, Boruto says "I made it just in time. The limited edition green chili hamburger! Who would've thought today was the last day." "Why do I have to be the one to keep you company?" Shikadai asks as he sits up "You're not gonna eat it?" Boruto asks "'Course I am!" Shikadai says as they both take a bite "Spicy!" They both say "What is that stuff? I don't believe this. You're impossible." Shikadai says as they take a drink "But man, this train is so convenient. I don't have to walk now that we've got this." Boruto says "The Hidden Leaf Village is getting more and more modern." Shikadai says as Boruto says "Hmm..." "But we still have to attend that old-fashioned ninja academy tomorrow." Shikadai says as Boruto looks at him and asks "Oh, is it from tomorrow?!" "There's a lot of stuff to get ready. Don't you know that?" Shikadai asks "Oh..." Boruto says "Didn't your dad tell you?" Shikadai asks "Sort of..." Boruto says "Boruto, don't go doing stuff to embarrass your dad, okay? 'Cuz it's probably gonna reflect on me too." Shikadai says as Boruto then says "What?" as Shikadai sticks his burger in front of his face and says "Your dad always tells me... to watch out for you." as he stuffs the burger in Boruto's mouth.
"My dad does?" Boruto asks with the burger still in his mouth "Well, you see... It's like the train." Shikadai says as he stands up "Huh?" Boruto asks "As long as it stays on the tracks, it'll get to its destination easily. So just sit tight till you get there." Shikadai says "What are you talking about?" Boruto asks "I'm just saying behave. See ya. Don't be late on the first day!" Shikadai says as he jumps off the train and grabs a passing pole. "Shut up! Dad can just mind his own business. I'll show you one day!" Boruto yells as he stands up and puts his hands in the air "Hey kid! Who're your parents? Don't you know that's dangerous?!" the engineer asks "Sorry, sorry! Whoa...!" Boruto says as he jumps off the train and onto and a nearby pole as he then sees a group of kids bulling another kid.
(in the alley)
Kid 1: Denki, is this all you have?
"Isn't that enough?" Denki asks
Kid 2: Well, yeah...but...Right?
Kid 3: Yeah, I want to have some fun too.
"Huh?" Denki asks "Yeah... What the--?!" kid 1 says as Boruto pours his drink on him causing him to look up at Boruto who says "Sorry, my hand slipped." "This sucks." Kid 2 says "Are you crazy? You wanna get hurt?" Kid 1 says "Take that back now. And I'll let this slide." "Huh? Hey you, come down here." Kid 1 says as Boruto backflips off what we was standing on and makes three shadow clones as he lands on the ground "Shadow Clones?!" Kid 3 says "Is this guy a ninja?!" Kid 2 asks as the two of them get tackled to the ground "Damn it, you making fun of us?!" Kid 1 says as he tries to punch Boruto who dodges and says "I don't care about ninja...!" as he stuffs his burger in the kids mouth making him throw Denki's wallet in the air as Boruto grabs the wallet, slides towards Denki, and says "Here." as he tosses the wallet over to him "Y-You..." Denki says "Don't be such a wuss." Boruto says as three more kids come walking around the corner "Hey, aren't you guys done yet? W-What are you doing?!" Kid 4 asks as he and the two behind him come running into the alley "Uh-oh, let's get out of here!" Boruto says as he pushes Denki into a smaller alley as Denki says "W-Wait!" as the two of them take off with the other kids following as Boruto and Denki head onto the one of the nearby roof.
