🦊🐻 "we finally get the results for the exam and i'll distribute your exam papers to see your scores yourself," the professor said as he passes the checked exam papers to the class president to distribute it to the class.
meanwhile, renjun was getting all nervous at his seat as he was waiting patiently for his paper.
haechan was also waiting for his paper. he was permanently seated beside renjun. after his confession, he felt eased and he felt honored for being renjun's first date.
"hey, chill," haechan said as he places his hands on renjun's shoulder who seems getting nervous because of the exam papers being distributed.
"how would i get chill if i haven't seen my paper yet?" the chinese boy replied as he gets calmed a bit at haechan's comfort.
haechan chuckled, "how about i'll buy you ice cream later?" haechan assured as he peeked at the latter who is squishing his cheeks, looking so puffed.
renjun nodded aggressively once he heard the word ice cream. "is that a promise?" he said, raising his pinky finger to haechan.
ah! i remember this... haechan remembered vividly how he ignored renjun's pinky promise before and he realized it was such an adorable action.
haechan raised his pinky finger as well, intertwining it to renjun's pinky, "of course, it is a promise"
"oh my god, i can't believe you finally do the pinky promise with me," renjun said as he receives a chuckle from the latter. he retreated his hands when the class president handed him his exam paper. haechan hasn't received his paper yet.
renjun places the front of his paper flat on his desk and didn't want to see it.
"why don't you see it?" haechan asks as he rests his chin to the palm of his hands, staring at renjun.
"i wanna wait for your paper so we can see the scores together" renjun smiled.
haechan can see stars, flowers, and butterflies flying around renjun when he smiles like that. it was a beautiful sight.
"i really love your smile"
| | | 🦊🐻 "i can't believe we get a passing score!" renjun dramatically said as he was clinging to haechan's arms. "and a high score too?!" he felt all his hard work paid off. both he and haechan got a passing and high score in their exam which will probably make their gpa get higher.
"it's time to grab an ice cream!" haechan said as he grab renjun's hand, running and dragging the latter with him.
"h-hold on!" renjun as he almost tripped when haechan suddenly ran which he manage not to.
while running, they caught too much attention, staring at them while they running to buy ice cream.
stopping at a popular ice cream place, the two boys were panting hard and chasing their breaths as they were almost kneeling after running for too long. but when renjun saw the ice cream place, he felt his tiredness disappear like a bubble.
"i heard their ice cream taste good as heck" haechan said as he look over renjun whose eyes were glued in the place.
"and expensive too" renjun mumbles under his breath, still gawking at his favorite ice cream place where he go frequently when he had the money to buy a small cup, even a small cup of ice cream is expensive too but it tastes good so it is worth to spend your money.
"yeah, i heard about it too, that's why i save a lot of money lately to bring you here"
"r-really?!"
"yeah, so mark this day, this will be our first date"
