cheongsan stumbles across the school cafeteria as he tries to find his best friend, nam on-jo. sigh, the usual stuff again, gwi-nam and his harassment, the class "prez", choi nam-ra sitting alone, dae-su, woo-jin, joon-young and some others that he did not recognise laughing gleefully at their bench. however, his eyes were also scanning for a certain someone. lee suhyeok.

yep. him. cheongsan has had the biggest crush on him for years. nevertheless, people always think that he has a crush on on-jo. even cheongsan doesn't understand why. it's just that whenever suhyeok stares at him, he feels a connection, and his heart melts, but, he is way too shy to confess to him. after awhile of searching for suhyeok, he ended up giving up. disappointed, he tries finding on-jo again. until cheongsan feels a hot sharp pain in his chest.

"AH SHIT! ah shibal..I AM SO SO SORRY!" suhyeok panics as his hot soup spills all over cheongsans body, covering him in curry. he immediately asks if he was okay and touches his chest unconsciously.

"oh fuck..he's touching my body..O-OH I MEAN, im fine, i-its ok i'll just get a change of clothes, i promise i'm fine," cheongsan murmured and stares at suhyeok's face in silence.

shit..he's so fucking perfect. i think im going to faint from his beauty more than the hot soup. am i in love? but he'll never like me back.

"uh? cheongsan, are you okay? you're spacing out a little," suhyeok giggles and calls for the nurse.

"oh, uhm, sorry..the pain yknow.." cheongsan lies straight to his face as he blushes momentarily before realising he was right infront of his crush. he then stands up with the help of suhyeok and brushes himself off.

"fuck..im so sorry, i really didn't mean to..is there anything that i can do to repay you?"

cheongsan's mind wanders to somewhere else. somewhere else where suhyeok is his valentine and their holding hands together in the mere sunlight. without thinking carefully, cheongsan musters up his courage and asks,

"well, yea, there is one thing...and it is that i want you to be my-" loud screams interrupt his and suhyeoks conversation as a girl storms into the cafeteria, looking half-dead with blood all over her face and bite marks on her neck. suddenly, a whole storm of them run into the cafeteria and start attacking the students nearby. the cafeteria started to fill with the screams of pain from the students. the students terrifyingly transform into them like in a real horror movie dream. their bones cracking and their eyes turning red.

without taking a long time, suhyeok, who has martial art skills, immediately kicks one of them away when they tried to attack cheongsan. suhyeok then goes away to protect others in danger while signaling for cheongsan to run away.

cheongsan's instincts then start to kick in and he finally finds on-jo on the ground, struggling to move back from the thing that looks like a 'zombie'. he pulls the 'zombie' away and grabs on-jo's hand, rushing to go to one of the classrooms upstairs. fortunately, they managed to find that their own classroom was untouched and went in with some of the other students. the door was locked just in time before the 'zombies' could get into the classroom. the doors were covered in blood and the 'zombies' looked absolutely terrifying.

cheongsan could spot nam-ra, na-yeon, woo-jin, joon-yeong, gyeong-su, and dae-su in the room. they all looked anxious and had sweat and tears all over their faces. suddenly, the door slides open and suhyeok runs in, surprisingly alive. he pants, breathless.
"welp, that lock is definitely broken and now we're all going to die," dae-su grumbles while woo-jin hits him in the back.

cheongsan looks at suhyeok, his side parting was gone and his hair was down from the amount of sweat he had. his uniform also had patches of blood on it. suhyeok could see cheongsan staring, just that he wanted him to keep doing it so he just kept quiet and smirked.

na-yeon breaks the silence, just not in a good way. she points at suhyeok slowly and accuses wildly,

"you're a fucking zombie ! GET OUT BITCH ! LOOK AT HIM, HES COVERED IN BLOOD !"

the rest walk back. except for cheongsan, nam-ra and on-jo. the chaos ensues as more people ask him to get out, believing na-yeon's lies.

"ALL OF YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP! STOP ARGUING ABOUT WHO'S A ZOMBIE AND WHO'S NOT. suhyeok isn't a zombie and i'll prove it. look, his hand, no marks, his neck, no marks either. even if he was one, he would've turned by now, so stop it, especially you, na-yeon." on-jo shouts for them to stop and rolls up suhyeoks sleeves, showing his arms to everyone in the room.

cheongsan felt a twinge of jealousy in him, wishing that he could've had enough courage to defend suhyeok from some of his ignorant friends. na-yeon only rolls her eyes and gave on-jo a dirty look, as if she's the one to blame. he sighs and settles down while helping the others barricade the doors with tables and chairs.

after a few scares from the zombies outside, he sits down and leans against the wall, tired from worrying about everyone. his friends, his mother, his family. ah fuck, what were those outside?

before he could continue thinking, suhyeok sits down next to him, drinking his last few drops of water. the rest of the group also sit down in silence until dae-su asks what the people outside were as ji-min tries finding signal to call for help.

"i am not sure but they look really similar to zombies..like the ones in train to busan," nam-ra says nonchalantly.

"hey, class prez. are you dumb? zombies don't exist, why the fuck are you even class president?" na-yeon rudely insults nam-ra's answer.

however, nam-ra only ignores her rude remarks and continues staring into space while suhyeok tells na-yeon to stop making problems. cheongsan just keeps silent, not knowing what to say or do. until suhyeok asks him a question.

"cheongsan, what was your favour just now?"
