Lightning, Fire, Water, Wind, Earth.

These are the 5 elements that could be manipulated through magic.

Usually, one can only use one element but there are those who can wield more than that. These people are sought after by countries due to the potential they hold.

This was the reason why the crown princess of the Light Kingdom was prohibited to use magic out in public. She had been born with the affinity to use all five elements.

Though, the actual reason why she was prohibited to use magic...

"[Dragon's Fury]"

A series of crimson diamonds materialized and revolved around the caster's hand. It grew brighter and brighter with each passing second before a stream of fire busted out of the light. The flames destroyed the training dummy and consequently, everything in a straight line behind it.

"Oh no. Dad's gonna be so mad again.."

"At this point, I think he'll just sigh and tell you that it's fine. Princess Shina."

"THAT'S NOT A GOOD THING."

Princess Shina was too gifted in magic to the point where she struggled to control it. That's the only reason why the king judged that she wouldn't use it outside of emergencies.

Shina's personal guard was quite used to seeing what happened each time to the point that it became a norm for her.

Just then a castle maid came over and greeted the two at the training grounds.

"Good Afternoon to you, Princess Shina. It is almost time for lunch to be served."

"Thank you, Miss Anne. I'll be there in a minute as I have quite a mess to clean up."

"I understand. I wish you all the best, Princess." The maid bows and makes her way back into the castle.

Bubbles of water starts to materialize in the air before bursting onto the embers of the earlier spell. It was the basic water spell, [Hydro Manipulation] that Shina had grew rather fond of.

"Well then, Princess. Shall we go back as well?" The guard asked without much show of any emotion but the lack of response somewhat worried her.

"Princess?" She was just staring at the training dummy that had been burnt from [Dragon's Fury]. It looked like she was contemplating something. Feeling that something was off, the guard took a step back and readied her shield.

"It's fine, Celia. I'm just trying to see if I can make something pretty with magic." As the words flowed out of her mouth, a violet glowing circle illuminated the charred grounds and brought about what looked like a garden of Lilacs. It was a sight to behold.

The princess's guard, Celia was flabbergasted by this sudden appearance of a garden of flowers.

" See? I don't just destroy everything. " The princess just smiles as she walks towards the violet fields. It was a mesmerizing sight.

Despite the soothing look of the flowers, they were actually densely packed with mana. The slightest disturbance would cause all that concentrated mana to disperse and cancel the magic. That's why most people opt out of using magic that uses lots of mana.

Celia just heaved a sigh and decided to go along with the princess to admire the flowers. She had to admit that even she was surprised to see such a sight made with magic.

However, they didn't know that some other entities had started to move behind the scenes with the appearance of such concentrated mana.

------------------

"It seems like we can finally do something about those pretenders."

"It seems as such."

"Let us make haste with the summons. We won't have another opportunity like this again if we fail."

The three robed figures who dwelled in the lone isolated tower started to move. It was necessary to achieve their goals.

They have spent hundreds of years waiting. They would not tolerate any form of failure after having reached this far into the plan.

------------------

The violet flowers grew brighter with each breath. It was odd to Celia when spells should have a pre-determined output regardless of external factors after the spell had been cast.

Her worries weren't unfounded in the slightest as the flowers on the edges dispersed into pure mana and converged into the middle of the garden.

"GET AWAY FROM THERE, PRINCESS" Celia yelled with all her might as she ran to pull her away from the violet garden.
Shina heeded the call and hid behind the small shield her guard had on her.

The violet garden became more luscious and thorny vines grew around the outer edges. It was like it's trying to protect something in the middle.

Within a few seconds, the glowing light dissipated and the illusionary flower field made of mana had become an actual garden of flowers. To further add to the shock, they saw what seemed like a humanoid figure falling from the sky.

"Did...that person just fall from the sky?" Princess Shina was in a state of disbelief. The same went for her guard. Throughout all their lives, never had they seen someone just straight up fell from the heavens.

They were unsure whether to approach the garden or not. The don't even know whether that person was still alive or not. It didn't take long for the latter to be answered as they saw the person trying to stand up. They had little to no injuries whatsoever. It was as if the garden had cushioned their fall.

Writer's Thoughts

Hello readers! Thank you for taking your time to read my story. I will be trying my best to make this story see an ending in my lifetime.

I do have to admit that the pacing would be quite messy at the start since there's not much for the readers to go with.
