"It's been raining all day, and to think about the fact that I have to walk home. I'll probably slip at least a hundred times!" Y/N groaned.
"Hey, no need to worry. You'll be fine! If you'd like, I can always walk you home." T.K said, looking at Y/N with a smile.
"Thanks, dude. It'd be more assuring to know that you would walk home with me." said Y/N looking down at their hands, resting on the 80's themed counter.
"Of course, anytime. I'm always going to be here for you, it doesn't matter where you are, you can always call me and I'll be there. And since you've been feeling for on nerve lately, it makes me happy to know that you feel safer around me." T.K would pick Y/Ns' hands up, and rest them in theirs. T.K would squeeze Y/Ns' hands, give off a smile, let out a sigh. "Look, I know how you've been feeling uncomfortable in your apartment, so I'm going to give you the option to come stay with me for awhile. Would that make you feel better, Y/N?"
Y/N looked at T.K, smiled, and pulled T.K into their arms. "Thank you, T.K." T.K embraced Y/N back. Y/N and T.K would let their arms fall back. "Well, I think we should clock out and close. Then I can come over to your apartment, okay?" Y/N said, fiddling with their sweatshirt sleeves. "I'll do it for you, m'kay? Just give me a few minutes." T.K said, walking to the back. "Alright.." Y/N responded back, putting their hands farther up their sleeves. The rain would start pouring harder than before, and the urge to look behind their shoulder grew. Y/N felt it harder to breath, and looked behind their shoulder because of instinct. Y/N turned their head quickly, panting and sweating, darting their eyes around the windows. After their eyes darting around for about 15 seconds, they spotted handprints and breath marks on the window. Y/N would pant and sweat more, and run behind the counter to attempt to find T.K.
"T.K, where are you? Please, just.. answer me!!" T.K came out of the staff bathroom, looking at Y/N confused, yet worried. "Hey, Y/N, are you okay? You're sweating, did something happen?" Y/N started tearing up, and ran into T.Ks' arms wanting to feel safe from whatever they saw. T.K held Y/N in their arms, and guided them to a retro styled booth away from the windows, and attempted to calm Y/N down. "Do you feel okay with telling me what you saw?" T.K said while pulling Y/N closer to try and comfort them. Y/N attempted to spit out the words, but couldn't. Y/N looked at the window, and the breath marks and hand prints were gone. Y/N looked over to T.K, and managed to say that they wanted to go back to their apartment. T.K nodded at Y/N, and walked to the diner door locking it up, leaving soon after. T.K took shortcuts to get to their apartment as fast as they could, without running with fear of slipping. They arrived around 18 minutes after leaving, and were drenched by the time they arrived. T.K opened their apartment, and slipped their shoes off going to change into comfortable clothes. "Give me a minute, Y/N." Y/N took off their soaked coat, and hung it on the coat rack next to T.Ks'. Y/N sat on the couch in the cramped living room, with pale yellow walls, and a light brown carpet. Y/N pulled their legs to their chests, and waited for T.K to finish changing. They thought if the handprints and breath marks on the window of the diner, and a shiver rolled down their spine. T.K came out of  their room, wearing gray sweatpants and a white short-sleeved shirt, sitting down next to Y/N, flicking on the television. Y/N moved closer to T.K, lying on their lap, dozing off. T.K would move Y/N up to onto their chest, and would hold them around the waist. They'd begin to look at Y/N, and feel the need to stare at them. T.K would blush, and look over at their legs. A bump would be present on their legs, and they would blush more. "Wrong time.." they said, looking back at Y/N with a lovesick mind. They would pick Y/N up, and bring them over to their bedroom. T.K would set Y/N down on the bed, and lye next to them, pulling them closer. Blush would cover T.Ks' face, and T.K would begin to lightly squeeze Y/N while beginning to fall asleep. Both of them would drift off into a deep sleep. The wind would howl over the sound of the television from the living room, and the window would begin to slightly open. A hand would reach inside of T.Ks' apartment, climbing in and shutting the window. The figure stared at Y/N, unzipping something, and pointing the object at Y/N. A few clicks would sound, and the window would open up again, the figure leaving like nothing ever happened. At around 8:34 PM, Y/N would wake up from their drowsiness, and get out of bed, looking at T.K, blushing. Y/N would go back into the living room, looking at the television flicking it over to Netflix. Walking into the kitchen, looking for something to help soothe their hunger, finding a box of open cereal and a few empty bowls next to it. Pouring the cereal into one of the bowls, they looked out the window. The same handprints, the same breath marks, making Y/N jump, grab their cereal, and go set it down near the couch. Y/N would run back to the kitchen, and pull a kitchen knife out of the knife stand. Y/N held the knife close to their chest, looking around the cramped living room, starting to pant. The knife would slip out of Y/Ns' hands and cut part of their finger, making it start to bleed. Y/N started sucking on the wound, setting the kitchen knife down on the couch, going to ask T.K for some bandages.  Y/N opened T.Ks' bedroom door, to find them awake and playing on their phone. T.K sat up and looked at Y/Ns' finger, grabbing some bandages out of the bed side drawer, getting up and putting a bandage on Y/Ns' wound. "Are you alright? What happened?" T.K said, holding Y/Ns' hands. Y/N looked at the window in their room, seeing how the wall and carpet was soaked. "T.K, did you open the window? It's.. soaked."  T.K would look over at the window, and start to feel uneasy. "Y/N, I never opened the window.." they both walked over to the living room, sitting down. Before T.K sat down, Y/N grabbed the knife and set it on the side table. A clap of thunder would sound from right outside the apartment, causing the power to go out. "Great.. I'm sorry Y/N. Whenever I have people over stuff like this always happens. I'll go find some flashlights in the kitchen, just give me some time. I don't remember where they are." T.K said with a sigh, getting up and walking into the kitchen. Y/N grabbed their phone, and checked the battery. 72%. That could last awhile, right? Y/N set their phone down, knowing that their phone didn't have the flashlight feature due to how old it was. Y/N didn't have a hefty paycheck, due to working at a small diner in a small town. Barely being able to pay for their own rent, having to pay for their roommates to. Y/N barely ever saw their roommate, due to her always being in her room due to being hanged over. Every night Y/N got home, it was either moans and sex noises, or complete silence. Y/N usually just ate some microwave ramen for dinner, took a shower, and went to bed. But at this moment, Y/N was staying at T.Ks' house for the meantime, due to their anxiety about what they have been seeing recently.
