"hello on this beautiful evening. im lana and i will be your waitress for the night. do you have any drinks in mind?"

multiple good evening and hi's were heard before one of the guys spoke.

"yess, can i please get a cup of coffee?"

"sure thing" she wrote down the drink "and for the rest?"

so the rest told her the drinks, lucky for her most of them were the same. she left the table informing that she'll be right back and to decide on food in that time being.

lana had walked back to the kitchen were she ran into amanda.

"yo how's the party of eight?"

"so far so good, all of them seem really nice. as well as so beautiful like huh? how can so many humans in one friend group be this attractive?"

"of course you think that " amanda laughed and left with her food to go do her job.

lana finished up with the two coffees and filled up rest of the glasses. she was done rather quick so she decided on staying back for a bit to let the people think of their food choice.

couple of minutes had passed and she returned to her table.

"hello again, here are you drinks. coffees for these two gentlemen" she gave the two guys on her right" four glasses of water for these fine young ladies and two glasses of apple juice for these two gentlemen"

"have you also decided on what you will be ordering tonight?"

"yes we have"

"alright, I'm listening closely"

so everyone ordered their meals and lana left the group to their own chat. giving the chef notice of everything she needdd the girl returned to the front bar and settled into a conversation with one of her co-workers.  while also spying with the corner of her eye her table if by any chance they needed her.

after some time the first meals were ready and the girl made sure to take and give them to the appropriate customer.

"the first round of meals have arrived" the girl with a bright smile put done three plates in front of two girls and a guy. "will be back with round two"

she left them and went to wait for rest of her meals while making small talk with one of the chef helpers that was closest to her. in fuve minutes rest of the meals have been prepared and the girl took three more to go.

she put them in front of three guys. and went back for rest of the plates and put them in front of the two ladies left for waiting.

"that would be it" she saw that half of them were finished with the drinks" would you like a refill?" she turned to the left of her.

"if that wouldn't be to hard yes please" a girl with beautiful brown curly hair answered the waitress.

"of course not" she smiled at her and for you three?"

they agreed as well so the girl went on to refill the glasses  and came back in a sec.

"here you go loves" she put the drinks in front of the four girls.

"I'll be right there at the bar if needed anything you can just call me over or come ask something. enjoy your dinner" she smiled and left the group.

there she ran into amanda.

"listen a, I think the curly headed one is quite cute dont you think?"

amanda looked at the table: " I mean yeah I guess" she shrugged and looked back at her friend.

"she is" lana smiled.

some time went by chatting when she saw that the group was calling her over.

"hello would you like anything?"

"yes, could we please get a refill on these two glasses?"

"sure thing" she took the glasses from the guys who were drinking apple juice. "I'll be right back"

and so lana was right back with two filled glasses. "here you go gentlemen".

"if not needed anything else?"

"no, thank you!"

"alright,  enjoy your dinner"

the girl left the table again. 

about thirty minutes without anything to do that finally the group had finished their food and decided on calling their waitress over again. this time the group ordered desert. and so the girl after 15 minutes came back with their desert and they thanked her.

the whole evening lana was eyeing the cute curly head girl, and as far as lana knew the other girl might have done that too. 

they ended up finishing their meal and paying the girl, might i add a good tip and they curly headed one even gave her a smile. 

but all that might be just in lanas head because she thought the girl was cute.

back at her apartment the girl changed into some more comfy clothes and got the snacks and drinks ready for their girl night . it was about ten minutes past the time they talked about when the two arrived. 

"yoo, come in" lana hugged each girl as they entered. 

"hii, so how was work?" maddie asked while taking off her shoes.

"oh do i have some tea about  arthur, lana doesn't even know" amanda took off her coat

"oh?" lana was in suprise

"and lana has a new crush" amanda added on

"shut up, not a crush just a cute girl"

"whatever makes you feel good"

"seems as if i missed some things then but i also have news about that tinder guy"

and that was enough for the two girls to perk up their ears and put all attention on maddie. they ended up making drinks and catching up on everything that had happened in the day. lana ended up going to bed earlier than the rest, well cause she had work the next day. her best friends did not.
