Chapter 3: The glitch

Pablo woke up dramatically then he checked his forehead with a palm and he felt sweat forming on his forehead. Did the dream really scare me? It felt like a lucid dream. Pablo thought as he checked the calendar and knew it was Saturday which means No work. He got up and received a missed call from Jose. He returned the call. Then he picked up,Jose: " What up sleepy head, how was your day?" Pablo: "I'm good and why did you call me ?" Jose: "OH I called you so we could hang out somewhere in Montreal with the boys.Pablo: It might be far away but I will try to get there.Jose: Alrighty The call ended and he got up from his bed and showered. He wanted to arrive as early as possible so after he showered he put his Mexican shirt on and some shoes because he knew it would be warm there. He ate concha con chocolate abuelita . Pablo's usual favorite breakfast and got the keys to his small gray Nissan car. And drove for hours and hours until he arrived at his destination and parked. "Hey fool what's up!" said Jose, giving him a handshake. Mark and Mike, Fernando and Charlie. Pablo whispered in Jose's ears, "I thought you meant only guys...not just some girl."He then replied, "Come on, don't be sexist, let her enjoy some fun with the boys." Then Jose walked forward and the group began to walk around. "Does anyone want ice cream? " said Mike as they all agreed and found the nearest ice cream store, they got what they ordered and walked further to a place to rest under the shade. "So how is your role of being a night guard?" Asked Jose. "It gets kind of boring. There was no paranormal activity happening. I always keep looking at cams to see if there are any but you know ghosts do not exist." Pablo replied."Well you did remember the story I told you about," said Mark. Well... I do remember I think it was about the time you and Mike stayed at a used-to-be slaughterhouse?" They both agreed to his statement. After he finished eating his ice cream he was about to stretch but he felt the ground on the weekend and his feet lost contact and randomly fell through the void and knocked out cold. Pablo screamed to get his friend's attention his friends noticed but could not save him.It was a glitch. He glitched through the real world....
