Maybe dreams do come true

Chapter 3: the stream

Maddie POV
I've been home for a week and the only good thing about it is being back with my cat.

Sapnap and I have been talking and planning out a stream idea. Originally we were gonna stream on his acc but then dream brought up the idea that I should start my own channel. At first I said no, but after some convincing I agreed. They helped me set up my channel and announced on Twitter that they will be streaming with a new friend.

I decided the night before the stream that I didn't want to do facecam, not right away. They obviously understood. We planned to do the stream at 8:00pm my time.

We got on a discord call at 7:00 and they helped me set everything up before we started the stream.

"Hey guys my name is Maddie, I'm the new friend dream George and sap we're talking about" I half laughed

"We found out a few days ago that Maddie has never beat mc, so today we are going to help her best mc" dream spoke up

The stream was basically just me dying every 5 seconds, and the guys asking me random questions so chat could get to know me. By the end of the stream I felt a lot more comfortable and was honestly really excited to stream more. I absolutely loved it!!

"That was really good, for your first stream" dream said once I ended

"Thank you, I actually had a lot of fun"

"Do you think your going to start streaming then?" Nick asked

"I'd like to, I just hope they don't hate me" I laughed nervously

"Have you seen Twitter? They love you" dream explained

Unsure of what to say I just smiled at the stream.

I talked with the boys for another hour, then decided to head to bed.

The next few days were absolutely insane. I gained so many new followers on twitch and Twitter, more then I ever could of Imagined. I also decided to start I TikTok which is on its way to 1mil followers and I genuinely can't believe it.

I decided since I'm so new to content creation that for my next stream I would do a Q&A and also facecam (which scared the crap out of me)

I asked dream George and sap if they wanted to be apart of it and they said yeah (Ofc) but also suggested introducing me to some ppl from the dsmp. I obviously said yes considering I'm a fan.

(Stream day)

"Alright Maddie, ready for your first facecam stream" Nick asked through our discord call

Right now I was just on call with the three boys I already knew, but soon enough I'd be on screen with thousands of people watching, plus in call with I punch of people I didn't know (this would be great for my social anxiety).

Regardless I gave Nick a quick "yes" and started the stream

"Hey guys I'm back"

"For those of that don't know today's stream will be a Q&A and also dream George and sap will be introducing me to some ppl from the dsmp!!"

"Alright chat before you start asking your questions I have a quick question for you" dream explained "who should Maddie meet first tommy? Or Wilbur?"

The chat immediately went crazy saying tommy.

"Alright chat has spoken" dream spoken again before adding tommy to our call

"WOMAN" is literally all he said

So Ofc I said the only thing appropriate for that moment "CHILD"

"I am not a child I am a man" tommy quickly came back

"Man child maybe" I laughed along with dream George and sap

The rest of the stream went pretty well. Tommy and I bickered a lot especially after he found out he was older then me. That did not go well on my behalf.

I decoded your answer one last question before ending stream. "Alright chat one more question then I'm gonna end"

Before I could even look at chat sap read out a question "do you think you will ever join the dream smp?"

"Well that's not up to me. I think it would've cool but I did just start streaming and I'm sure there's other ppl out there more deserving to join" I quickly explained

"Well I mean if you would like to join I'm sure I could figure something out, And I mean so far you've gotten along with everyone here, so it might not be a bad idea" dream explained

"Your joking right?"

"No if you want to join, I'll work something out and that can be your next stream"

"Well, I mean yeah of course! I'd love to join"

"We will talk more off stream then" dream explained

And with that I ended my second stream.
