HELLO EVERYONE AND WELCOME TO: "fairytale, volume i: celebration time"
although I'm not quite at 400 yet, this graphic contest is in celebration of a hopefully reached goal, and all of the progress that I've made with graphics in the past year!! I've come a long way, I've made tons of friends, and I'm so thankful to everyone who has helped me get to where I am now!! now, onto the important things that you'll need to know about my first contest!!
but first!! a huge, huge thank you to both -lxcifer and Winter326 for allowing me to take inspiration from both of their contests layouts!! (they both have graphic shops that you should also check out <3)
RULES
1. please be kind!! I'm incredibly excited for this and all that I ask of everyone participating is to be kind; that means not being a sore loser and respecting everyone who participates
2. the deadline for this contest will be MARCH 20TH. all graphics should be submitted on, or preferably, before then. I'll give a week-long extension as long as you ask for the extension before MARCH 13TH.
3. you can submit any kind of graphic you want to make (covers, mood boards, manips, any kind of gif, video edits, etc)!! I need to be able to upload the graphics onto wattpad in some way and the graphics must be sent to me (I can be reached on wattpad, discord, or instagram). wattpad and I have been having an issue recently where I'm not getting every notification in places where I've been tagged (which is a real struggle when it comes to my shop) unless it's in a comment. I want to respond and interact with you when you post your graphics, so if I don't, I probably haven't gotten a notification!! and please supply links!!
4. your entries actually have to be made by you!! plagiarism is an actual crime!!
5. judging criteria: I've been a judge for a few communities so I plan to create a thorough system but the basics of the judging will follow a) effects such as detail and clarity, the overall look of the graphics, b) the accuracy of the graphic (ie how well it matches to the vibes of the book), and c) the effort you put into the graphic(s). there are definitely elements of emotion and care that someone can put into graphics, someone can even "research" for the graphic. I don't plan on being picky, these are just ways to earn extra effort points!! you can even ask me privately for more information about any of the books!!
6. to enter this contest all you need to do is comment "IN" and tag three people that you think would be interested too!!
