𝐈. Reunion

She got out of the car when he opened the door for her and he helped her to get inside the backyard of their house. People are waiting for her to arrive and to celebrate her homecoming.

Her parents first greeted her with a big hug.

“Iyan na ba si Sanya?” Her aunt Mrs. Madrid, immediately asked.

“Oo siya na nga.” Smiling, her father replied.

“Hello, Tita!” Sanya greeted and hugged her aunt.

“Grabe, parang kailan lang. Ikaw na ba talaga 'yan, Sanya?” Shocked but smiling Mrs. Nacino asked, while holding the girl's hand.

“Opo, Tita, ako nga. Na-miss ko po kayo.” Sagot pa ni Sanya.

“I missed you too, hija.” Sabay yakap ni Mrs. Nacino sa kanya.

“Honey, baka naman hindi na makahinga si Sanya.” Biro pa ni Mr. Nacino agad rin siyang niyakap ni Sanya. They even laughed, they were happy with Sanya’s return from the US.

It's been a long time since they last met. Their last meeting was on Sanya's 18th birthday.

“Kumusta po kayo?” Sanya asked the couple Linda and Roel. (A/N: Sorry. I don't know what is Rocco's dad name is, so please bear with me.)

“Okay lang naman. Rocco is now working at the company, mabuti nga at napapayag ko siya, eh.” Roel replied. Sanya smiled because she heard the name of her childhood friend.

“Ikaw, kumusta? It's been two years since the last time we met, twenty ka na pala.”

“Opo. Nasaan po pala si—”

Hindi na natapos ang sasabihin ng dalaga nang may babaeng tumawag sa kanya.

“Sanya!” A tall and white skinned woman ran into her and gave her a tight hug and the girl did was to hug her back.

“Kylie!”

They pulled off from the hug. “Wow, girl. You look very pretty. I'm sure marami kang manliligaw.”

“Yes, I do have a lot, pero wala akong pakialam sa kanila.” The girl shrugged. Kylie just chuckled at her.

They got their seat and started to talk and eat about their lives. While they are talking their parents are doing the same.

Then a handsome boy went to them wearing his playful smirk. It's Sanya's cousin, Ruru.

“Hey, couz!” Ruru greeted and Sanya stood up to hug him. When they're done they pulled off.

“Grabe, couz, it's been a while. Ang ganda mo pa, ah.”

“Thanks.” Sanya answered smiling.

“Ruru, ikaw ba talaga 'yan? Parang hindi naman eh.” Tumingin naman ng naguguluhan si Ruru sa kanyang pinsan.

“Ha?”

“I didn't realize that you're still ugly.” Sanya answered and the two girls laughed out loud.

“Hahahaha. Oo nga, pangit pa rin.” Natatawang saad ni Kylie.

Seryosong tumingin si Ruru sa dalawang babae.

“Hoy, hindi ako pangit. Kung hindi lang kita pinsan, nahalikan na kita.” Ruru smirked making her scrunched her nose in disgust.

“Eww! Baliw ka? Kadiri ka! Si Kylie nalang!”

The guy grinned looking at the girl who's older than him.

Kylie scrunched her nose in so much disgust.

“Gaga ka, Sanya! Mas bata 'yang engot na 'yan!”

Ruru chuckled at her statement. “Maka-bata ka naman, you're just five years older than me.” Ruru rolled his eyes, playfully.

“But I'd like to give you a kiss.” Ruru extended his snout and Kylie backed away from her seat.

And Sanya laughs while watching the two. Ruru was about to kiss Kylie when someone hit him on the head.

Ruru grabbed his head which was already hurting.

“Gago ka, kapatid ko 'yan!” Sanya stopped laughing when she heard the man's familiar voice. She was stunned at the view of a handsome man who's already at the middle of 20's.

Her eyes twinkled when she saw the man she had always dreamed of.

“Raffy?” The man turned to her and gave out a huge smile.

“Hey, Shaira Lenn Roberto.” Rocco smiled at the girl and pulled her for a warm tight hug.

Somewhat surprised, Sanya hugged Rocco back. She closes her eyes in ecstasy while feeling the warmth of his hug.

Why not? She has long liked the handsome man. Even if Rocco is five years older than her, she doesn't care, as long as she likes Rocco. Sanya never had a relationship with others because she only likes him.
