Chapter 9

Enemy or Friend

Cale could not sleep the entire night, as he was processing and thinking of the reason, Cale Henituse choose to abandon his own family and no one had noticed for 12 years.

'Who can I ask? I don't think I can ask that duke, as he hadn't been around for years. But who is someone that was close to him, when he was younger and throughout his planning?'

Cale sighed to himself, as he wanted the Real Cale to explain, but that brat just kicked him out without explaining his true intentions with him. Unfortunately, they would need to put this case on the back log, as they still have to deal with the current war at hand.

'I will keep this to myself for now.'

As Cale had the others prepare for the next fight, as he informs Alberu about how Caro Kingdom's prince, was greedy for more information about the enemy. He has been debating to inform Alberu about the real existence of the House of Pluto, after they seemingly vanished from everyone's mind, as quickly as it came. Currently only him and Cage, seem to have any memories of the name the House of Pluto. But only he, knows who actually run it.

"How annoying."

"What is annoying?"

A figure appears, to meet with Duke Silvia, who was dispatched by the king and the real Cale to join up with him to deal with the enemy.

"Duke."

"Just call me Uncle. Even if you aren't the real one, you act too much like Jour and Cale, I can't tell the difference."

He smirked and plops himself onto a chair, in the Henituse estate, at Rain City.

When he suddenly, appeared out of nowhere. Greeted a couple of the servants and workers. Before scaring the heck out of the Count, as he came running at him swinging his sword.

But aside from that, the Duke got along very well with Violan, Basen and Lily.

"I can tell you have questions."

Cale flinched a little, as he too had questions, but Raon was also in the room and he doesn't want to burden the child with his complicated confrontation.

"Is this confidential?"

"Not really. The little one is welcome to listen in if he wants to. Besides, I'm not told the confidential information, as I am quite busy with my own side."

"Okay then. Raon. Can you put up a soundproof barrier?"

-Sure human.-

Raon had not appeared at all, as he was still wary of this old man, who act too causal with Cale.

"Where is he?"

"He isn't you enemy, if that is what you are worried about. He is probably doing his own part to get rid of the enemy. Relax, Cale."

Cale frowned at the violet eye man.

"You will certainly meet him soon."

"I don't want to."

The Duke just smiled, before leave the place, as he had nothing else to say. As Raon appeared in front of Cale.

"What is he talking about?"

Cale did not answer Raon and just pat him.
