'What is this place? Did i fall asleep turning on my game?? I know i was tired but what the hell...' I thought to myself looking around at my surroundings "is this a dream?" I ask to no one. "Hello there, why would you think this is a dream?" I hear a not so familiar voice. Who said- "I'm Venti the bard!" He spoke almost reading my mind. I look at him in shock and let the cog's work in my head before realizing I'm starting to stare. "I know.. not in a creepy way I swear!! I just umm.. it's hard to explain." I say nervously. 'I've seen him in my dreams before but this is different somehow...is it because I'm in Wind Rise?' I stared at him and disbelief. He giggled at my behavior, "have you seen my performances?" He asks. "Something like that.." I reply.

"Umm, mister Venti do you know why I'm in WindRise?" I ask him, starting to look around at the beautiful field. "Why are you calling me 'mister'? Just call me Venti!" He spoke with a smile. "Because your older than me.." I answer. he looked at me, a entertained expression on his face. "I guess you make a fair point." he said with a look of mischief sat on his face. " 'i guess' is an understatement " I say calmly. "...why are you looking at me like that?" I ask confusedly. "Im just wondering what your doing laying in a field miss...?" He says cheerily semi asking for my name.

"Oh right! I'm..." I thought for a moment, I can't tell him my real name, It may have consequences. "I'm Bright." I reply "and I was uhm...taking a nap" I practically lie through my teeth at him. He looks at me with a smile "I'll be off to Mondstadt!" he says, while walking away with pep in his step

'now that I think of it..I have no mone-mora!!' I silently panic while he starts to walk away. "Hey!" He stops and looks at me. "Umm..can I tag along? Im not from here but I know here it's kind of complicated..." I ask. He blinks "follow me if you wish. I'm going to master Diluc's tavern in the-" "-city of freedom." He stares at me shocked for a second, then he smiles. "Yeah!" he responds and chuckles.

Time skip

Me and venti have been walking and chatting for about 20 minutes, this feels weird..it feels real. I love it but it's so confusing to me at the same time. I think about everyone I'll meet. 'ive met Venti..I can't wait to meet diluc!! He's so cool and hot and a badass!' Venti takes notices of my exited expression and taps my shoulder.

"You look excited hmm?" He questions. I nod and smile. "Soooo, do you have Friend's?" He asks. "Not really, I have Jay and Jess, they're both my closest friends. I've known them for years, I trust them with my darkest secrets." He nods, letting me know he's listening. "Honestly, we're a chaotic trio, we were stirring up trouble whenever we can. But Jess moved to- another place and I talk to Jay the most." He smiles. "well atleast you have a friend who you talk to alot" I nod. 'He's right..I still have Jay, and I do rarely talk to Jess so it's sort of my fault that we're not as close as more..' I smile.

"Y'know I fell out of a tree once, my dad heard the branches snap and ran to the front of our house and he saw me stand up sort of dizzy and laughing and I just yelled 'im ok!'" venti laughs with me at the memory, he stops and dramatically yells "welcome to Mondstadt!" I look at the city in amazement, it was colorful and full of people, I heard music playing from every direction. "Its better up close then I imagined.." I wisper to myself.

I grab Venti by the hand and run around like a child in the supermarket. I see the cathedral and glare at it a bit. 'i hate there, it was torture to get the holy lyre..' Venti looks at me. He notices my sour expression and drags me to the tavern while I follow close behind. I see diluc and my eyes practically sparkle. 'holy shi-' "one drink for me and one for the lady!" Venti says cheerily. I sigh and shake my head "uhm- no thanks I'm not a drinker" I send him a nervous smile look and sit down next to him. "And im broke so your paying for this since you ordered" I say bluntly. Venti giggles nervously "eheh~"

I look at Diluc nervously, 'he looks hot as hell and annoyed..do I make conversation with him?' I smile nervously at him while he has the same stoic expression on his face. "I'll have grape juice please.." I ask nervously. Venti wraps his arm around my shoulder feeling the tension "this is my new friend Bright!" He smiles and takes a sip of his drink. I look at Diluc's hair and admire it. He notices my gaze on his neat fiery locks. "Is it natural?" I ask and he nods. "It comes from my father's side.." He explains. "Wanna hear a joke?" I ask hoping to make him laugh atleast once. "Sure" he replies and turns to face me.

"A guy walks into a bar and asks for some fruit punch, the bar tender turns to him and says 'sure just get in line' the guy looks over and gets confused" I say, "why?" Diluc asks. "Because there's no punchline." Venti giggles a bit but diluc fails to hide his laughter. I smile as he laughs quietly. "You like the joke?" He nods and clears his throat. He hands me my drink and I take a sip. "This is actually really good.." I say taking another sip.

Another time Skip

I smile saying goodbye to diluc while holding Venti on his feet."do you have a house Venti?" I ask and he nods. "Its infront of the knights of favovaba" he says slurring his words. "Its favonius but ok.." I chuckle. I go to what looks like a inn. "Which room is yours?" I ask and he gives me a drunk smile. "Number 2 *hic*" I nod and help him in. I set him on the couch and look at the place, it's somewhat clean, minus the old dandelion wine bottles. His living room and kitchen are connected and there are two doors..I slap him gently. "Venti stay awake you aren't in bed yet" I said softly to him if he could understand, I set him down on the couch. I look around and walk into the kitchen and see dishes in the sink. 'is that mold? Maybe I should clean up the place for him..' I clean a glass and walk over to give him water. "Sober up bard"

He nods and starts to drink the water. Slowly but surely getting more sober. I help him get up and open a door that thankfully led to his bedroom. He climbed into the bed and looked at me with a smile. "Bright, can you sit with me?" He asks me in a sweet tone. I sigh and nod and sit next to him, my feet dangling down the side of the bed. We sit there for a while but his eyes widen. "Whats happening to you?" He sits up and asks looking panicked. "What do you mean?" I ask him kinda confused. "Your glowing!" He replies. I look at my hand that was a white-ish blue color. I begin to panic a bit and my body starts to fade. "I-I don't know!" I turn to venti one last time.

"I promise I'll try come back to you." And then my eyes opened..
