No one's pov

"Wakey wakey~"

"Time to get up!"
Bright felt herself jump at the sudden loud noise in her right ear. It wasn't the most pleasing thing to hear at who knows what time of the morning but she could only roll over and snuggle into the soft blanket that had the smell of.. wine?

She opened her eyes and sat up in the unusually comfortable bed that had a nice springy feeling to it, unlike the usual one with worn out springs in hers. she rubbed her eyes and looked around, the room that she felt was unfamiliar to her, becoming more clear as she wiped the sleep from her eyes, the curtains let in the warm sunlight that made the room perfectly visible and gave it a pleasant yellow-orange glow. She looked next to her to see venti looking up at her from the edge of the bed while sitting on the floor, his chin resting in his hands.

She came to the realization and questions began to fill her head. Did she fall asleep? Where was jay?
"Jays asleep, I want to wake him up later so that we can talk, just for now."
He smiled at her warmly and she started to take in his appearance. His braids were untied and he had a bit of a bed head but it seemed like his hair neater than when he woke up, she looked at the way his hair faded into a pretty turquoise. "Can I touch your hair? Please?" She asked him. He looked at her and blinked in surprise at the sudden request. "Alright!" He beamed. She leant forward and smiled softly yet warmly as she softly ran her fingers through his hair.

Venti watched her as she fiddled with loose strands of hair and softly admired how peaceful she was, his mind wandering back to many years ago when he played with the hair of an old friend. With a small smile he let a yawn escape him since it was quite early, "I should get into my proper clothes, I have an appearance at the Weinlesefest to practice for!" He announced. "The wen-wata-fest?" She asked with curiosity laced in her tone. "The Weinlesefest! Its a festival for the anemo archon, they brew up the tastiest wines and it's a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends!" He explained. "Sounds like an excuse for you to get drunk, hmm?" She raised an eyebrow at the bard. "You wound me! I'm not that addicted to wine!" He says dramatically with a hand to his chest. She sighed at him, "you better go get ready then, I'll wake up jay and make something to eat if there's any fresh food in the kitchen.." "you? Make me breakfast? This bard much appreciates it." He smiled.

Venti left the bedroom, shutting the door quietly behind him. Bright signed and hopped out of the bed, looking down at what she was wearing she wondered if she could go shopping or maybe she should just wear the outfit she had on, it didn't smell or have any stains so it should be fine. She walked out and into the living area where jay was on the couch fast asleep.

Bright walks up to him and tapped his shoulder. he stirred in his sleep pulling the covers over his head, she leant down next to him and- slam - "oww!"  he yelled looking up at the girl on top of him. "what the fu-!?" "I'm making food." "your forgiven" he caved. she got up and walked into the kitchen, scanning the newly cleaned counters for food, she reached up towards the cupboard doors and opened them revealing surprisingly fresh food. She noticed something wrapped and pulled it down onto the bench, unwrapping it and revealing stake that seemed like it was bought the day before. she sighed in relief and grabbed a knife.

(Time Skip)

The three were walking to Springvale, the dirt road was clear enough to guide them to the experienced hunting grounds. Jayden listened to Venti and Bright's chatter about the Weinlesefest.

They stopped and admired the decorations that had been set up for the celebration. A smile crept onto Bright's face as the cent of pastries filled her nose. "It smells so good!!" She beamed While jay chuckled. Venti grabbed Bright's hand and dragged her to the angels share stand while jay followed them.

Jayden's pov

I sat down at the bar keeping an eye on the two morons. It was nice to see her so genuinely happy, I haven't seen her like that in awhile.

"Admiring your little friend?"

I heard a voice that made me stop thinking, I rarely think but this was different, His voice made me malfunction. It was overly calming, maybe it was too calming. I turned to look at him and blushed, he had dark blue hair that looked soft. he wore an eyepatch that was very fitting and his outfit reminded me of a medieval prince from the 1800's. "I'm Kaeya." He smirked. "I'm Jayden" I replied.
