Asahi hated himself, so much.
If only he already knew that it will rain today, he should've brought his umbrella instead of waiting on the waiting shed near to his university to wait for the rain to stop.
He was with other students earlier but lucky them they had someone to pick them up.
His auntie still have approximately 1 week and 3 days before going back on their house. He doesn't have any number of Jeongwoo and Haruto so he was really struggling right now.
He can feel his feet getting numb and eventually will give up in any time. He was standing on the waiting shed for almost an hour but the rain was still pouring hard.
Asahi who was just minding how can he even go home at this state didn't realized that there was another person stood beside not so far from him.
The latter was startled when he felt something touched his shoulders that made him look who did that.
He just wanted to disappear again from this world upon recognizing who it was. He placed a jacket on his shoulders, his mind can't function well. He can't find ways to run away because he doesn't want his things to get wet and also himself to get sick.
"It was cold right now, isn't it?" he didn't gave him any answers but remained silent.
The only thing they could hear is the rain pouring hard at the moment.
Why is he even here?
"Doubt that you can escape from me at this point" Jaehyuk said keeping his eyes on the rain.
Asahi again didn't gave him any further response. He just wanted to escape from this guy before he'll do more other crazier things.
"Baby, I'm sorry" here he goes again. With that word again, he just doesn't want to hear it.
You know why? It's because it was annoying. And it was annoying that it makes his heart flutter everytime he's calling him with that.
"I don't know what I did but if ever there was something I did that you didn't liked, I'm apologizing for that"
He didn't do anything wrong tho. It was this whole concept is wrong. He shouldn't get closer with him and most importantly that he shouldn't be his probe.
"Just don't avoid me like this" all he can do is just to close his eyes in frustration. He doesn't know what to feel right now. Everything was just confusing for him.
Why do he care much even though Asahi was avoiding him? I mean not like he was in love with him or something. It was just because they play both relevant roles to each other's life.
Although seeing colors wasn't relevant for Asahi.
"Why are you even running away from me everytime? Why are you avoiding me?"
He can't bare it anymore. For now, he only had two choices. First choice is to stay here and everything will go back to square one. Second and last choice is to run even though it was raining hard.
He can still buy things if everything will be messed up. He can still re-write his notes so to be honest, he doesn't have anything to worry.
"Hey, can you talk to me?"
Why does it sound like they were a couple trying to reconcile at this moment.
The thought of couple just gives Asahi shivers. He can't imagine himself being in a relationship.
Looks like he doesn't really have any choices at this point. His decision is really complete. Whatever happens to him is his fault. He can't blame it to anyone.
It was his final decision.
Asahi was determined to escape from this moment. He was about to start running when a pair of hands snaked around his waists, putting him into a tight and warm back hug.
"Are you out of your mind? Will you really run out there and get yourself sick just to escape from me?" the older worriedly said still not letting the japanese go of his hug.
"W-who says I'm escaping from you?" Oops, he stuttered.
"Then what's your plan? What is the exact reason why are you so ready to run despite the rain?" all he could do is gulp big time. And there is two reasons why.
First reason is that he couldn't find any perfect alibi to say as his excuse why he is running. And lastly, the fact that his probe was hugging him and he feels warm with it.
"Look, you can't even tell me a perfect reason why"
His forehead was starting to crease. He was getting more annoyed of what is happening at the moment. Can't he just let him go at peace?
"Let go of me" he said with full authority.
Instead of obeying the younger japanese. Jaehyuk placed his chin over Asahi's shoulder still wrapping his arms around his waist.
"I said let go of me!"
"No, at least tell me what is the reason why are you treating me like this"
Asahi let out a deep sigh out of frustration. Another reason why the japanese find him so annoying.
"Because you're annoying. I can't stand seeing you, I can't stand hanging out with you. You're whole existence was just annoying me"
"Why?"
"Yoon Jaehyuk, can't you really understand?!" His voice partly raised, sign that he was really annoyed.
"Understand what?"
"You can't be close to me. You are just putting yourself in danger with me. As soon as possible, you should get away from me"
The older didn't responded. He doesn't know what he means by that so he'll just let him explain everything.
"There's a lot of news going on that because of the mono's obsession with the colors, they are killed and tortured by their own monos. You should avoid me. I'm afraid that I'll do the same thing to you, do you get it now?"
"And besides this whole concept was just coincidental. Is it even possible that I'll have you as my probe. Maybe there was something more worthy to be your mono"
To be honest, he feels disappointed for some reasons but he can't just give up like that. He promised himself to take care of him at all costs.
And his eyes won't lie the moment his eyes showed the color on his eyes. He can't lie about how excited he looks the moment he had first seen the colors that night.
"I don't care"
"What?!"
"I don't care about putting myself in danger. If you'll ask to see the colors, I'll let you see all of them. And I don't believe that you'll do that to me. I know and I hope you know that I'm always here with you anytime you wanted to see the colors"
Why the hell he can't understand me, this is very frustrating.
"And about what you said that me being your probe is not impossible, I'm telling you right now that everything is possible. Your eyes weren't lying the moment they showed me the colors running through your eyes"
"Your warmth is all I believe why we are meant for each other. I feel safe around you, I feel relieved when I see you. How can you say that you are still not my mono?"
"Jaehyuk.."
"Look, I don't care what you say. I'll stay beside you and I'll make you like colors, each one of them"
