I could almost feel the relief of the class as the lunch bell rang. Sighing, I tidied up all of my books and walked out the door. Concentrating only on balancing the heavy objects that lay on my arms, I didn't notice the figure that was running towards me at high speed.

"Kini-chan!" The girl exclaimed as she leapt towards me, giving me a bear hug.

"Ryoko...argh!" I yelled and closed my eyes as I prepare myself for the cold, hard ground to catch me (as it always does, I know I'm so grateful). But instead, I stopped falling halfway and fell in an another type of embrace- a warm one. I glance up and ruby, innocent orbs greet me.

"Oh! Akashi-kun! Just in time! My chauffeur's daughter is sick, he's gone to the hospital..." I started.

"And you need me to drop you off?" He finished off my sentence, while helping me stand.

I nodded, embarrassed. Ever since primary school, it has always been Sei-kun that helped me with everything. Revising for exams, practicing for sport carnivals...

"Hey! Hello? I'm still here!" Ryoko exclaimed, waving her hands desperately in front of my face.

"I'll meet you at the front gate after school. Don't be late, I have work to attend to." Akashi said, and walked down the hallway, with a couple of girls at the two sides of the corridor, whispering and blushing.

I sighed. I really hope I don't get dead rats in my locker this year...

"Kini! You have been ignoring me for the past five minutes!" Ryoko complained, pouting.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to..."

"Doesn't matter," she said, cutting off my sentence sharply, "but honestly..."

"What? Is there something wrong?" I ask, curious, after she just stopped and stood there, without finishing off her sentence.

"N-nothing...I got to go prepare for class! See ya!" She stammers, power walking away at incredible speed.

"But it has been only 10 minutes since the lunch bell rang..." I muttered as she ran to her locker area.

~After school~

I walked out of my classroom and out of the building, into the area in front of the school. Where's Sei-kun's car? And there I saw a black, expensive looking car on the side of the street, and not-surprisingly, fifteen to twenty girls form a messy semi-circle around the vehicle.

"I heard that Akashi is the heir of that famous company!"

"Kind, caring and rich!"

"Marry me, Akashi-kun!"

I still can't believe I had the courage to even walk up to the car. The chauffeur came out of the driver's seat and opened the door for me.

"Hello, Tsukina-sama. I hope you had a great day at school." He said.

"Hello, Haneki-san and thank you." I replied, with as much courtesy as I could since so many people were watching us. Then I climbed into the empty window seat.

"Who's that?"

"Tsukina again! That girl from that stupid financial company!"

"Shame on her, why does she always stick with Akashi-sama?"

Okay now I'm really sure I'm going to get dead rats in my locker this year.

Finally, the car drove off, granting me silence. Then, a full, bursting bag of mysterious items sitting on the floor of the car caught me eye. "Sei, what's that bag about?"

"Oh? They're letters." He muttered indifferently, still staring outside the window.

'Wait...let me guess...love letters?' A smile tugging at my lips.

'Yes, I'm planning to getting my butler to shred them and dispose of them at home. Since many of the senders are daughters of business partners that by coincidence, attend to this school, I wouldn't want any chance of them finding out.' He replied in one go, a slightest tinge of annoyance in his voice. But I can't blame him, he gets piles of letters each day.

After one or two minutes of silence, I decided to ask something to break the awkwardness. 'Hey Sei, you said you had business to attend to, but isn't Monday your only free day? What do you have that's so important today?' I asked, randomly.

'I...' he thought for a moment, 'have to represent my father at a business party.'

Just after he finished, we stopped at a huge, white mansion. And before the chauffeur could have reached his hand out for his door handle, 'Oh, Haneki-san, don't bother, I can open a door!' I joked.

I look at the chauffeur's face to see his reaction to my hilarious joke.

Not funny? Okay.

I walked out of the car and took one last look at Sei, who was smirking, and closed the door. I waved as the car drove off.

Then it came to me. Hm, that's weird, if there was a party that even the Akashi Company would attend to, then my parents and I should know about it too.

Oh well, who cares.

So there's another chapter~

For those who think I made Akashi a bit OOC: if u watched the latest episode of the anime or have read the manga, you would know that Akashi was 'nicer' in the first two years and a half of his middle school life. This is set in the start of his third year, which means that Akashi has only been in middle school for two years, which means he is still his 'nicer self'. Thank you for your understanding~

Oh and by the way, I know in the latest anime episode, Akashi had told his chauffeur not to drive him to and from school anymore. But yeah... I decided that in this fanfic the chauffeur still serves for him. Once again, thank you for understanding~
