ELIJAH POV

I was at the hospital waiting to get an update on Roman I texted Jaelynn she said she was on her way. I told her I'm okay but she insisted I can't imagine what she was thinking her mother is back oh and she's shoving her tongue down Nikolai's (who isn't dead) throat.

"Elijah oh my god! Are you okay baby?" Jaelynn ran into my arms I held her tightly and kissed her lips
"I walked in and seen so much blood I'm gonna lose my best friend" she wiped my tears "your not Roman is a fighter he's not gonna leave you"
That's what I love about Jaelynn she always knows what to say how to say if she when to say it

VALENTINO POV

"Jasmine please call me back"
Jasmine didn't come to the damn funeral I mean I just thought she'll be there for me but I messed up, on the other hand, I need a new assistant I heard the door open downstairs so I went downstairs and it was Gabriel "what you want?" He sat on the couch in the living room "Roman tried to kill himself" my jaw dropped in shock
"Your serious?" Gabriel nodded his head yes I ran my hand through my hair

"Also one of your men was killed by a Verlice" my eyes widen, "I thought that family was dead out of the game "how you know it was them"

"The tattoo I saw it on the camera footage" I took a deep breath in irritation "he was doing his lookout around the city and was a stabbed to death"

fucking hell of course it's the Verlice it's my fault I should've been paying attention it's time to have the dinner party of the century with the five families "Gabriel goes to the hospital with Elijah"

"I can't his girlfriend is with him"
I rolled my eyes "of course she is" Gabriel laughed "yeah of course Elijah fell for the Hensley's girl" I pointed to the door telling Gabriel to fucking leave he laughed and left

-ZAN'S HOUSE-
ZAN POV

Daniel had me on my kitchen counter fuck he tasted so good his tongue swirled around my own. His hand was gripping my ass tightly the other was on my neck I wanted him so bad but of course, his damn phone had to ring
"Hello? What you want Valentino" I tried to get off the counter but he didn't allow me to "the five families? Are you sure? Yeah okay I understand" Daniel let out an irritated sigh "Zana I have to tell you some things" Daniel carried me to my couch

"I'm not in a mafia that's for sure but I work with mafias for business purposes, my dad Johnny Hensley was one of the five families so that means I'm in the five families"
Daniel my sister worked for Valentino Esposito I know shit like this "I know" Daniel looked confused "my sister worked for The Esposito's I know things babe" he kissed me
"of course, you do Zana"

-BACK AT THE HOSPITAL-
JAELYNN POV

Elijah went to go see Roman he told me to stay in the waiting so he and Roman can have their bro moment or whatever I got a text from Zan

I can't believe they gonna do the dinner party I always thought the huge dinner party was a myth but no it's happening and my dad is one of the families I wonder who's the fifth family though I never knew the fifth I know Roman family used to be one of the families but that was decades ago. I have to tell Elijah but not now it's just not the right time I'm glad Roman pulled through if he would've died Elijah will be completely broken and I can't have that shit.

ELIJAH POV

"I should kill you myself," I sat next to Roman's hospital bed he's doing good  the bullet didn't hit any important organs, roman laughed "shut up man," Jaelynn came into the room she looked worried "what's up Jaelynn," roman said

"I'm glad your okay Roman I have something to tell you guys"
"What's up? what happened?" Jaelynn sighed she took a deep breath "they having the dinner with The Five Families" me and Roman was shocked we said 'what' at the same time

"WHAT!?"
