It was another cold morning, snow had fallen during the night and left a thin layer over the ground. Madeline opened the car door, I watched the footprint her shoes left on the thin layer of snow covering the ground as she ran to school.

I felt it, I felt it even before I saw the school building. It was still here. That voice I heard in my head yesterday, that strong presence, it was still in the school.

"Hey, come on! Hurry up, get out of here!" Jean said, raising her voice. "You'll be late for class.". She looked at me in the rear view mirror with her hands held up.

I apologized and fumbled my way out of the car. As my feet made contact with the ground the snow over it crunched. A shiver went through my body, starting at my feet and making its way to my head where it would stay.

My nerves were going off really strongly. Unknowingly I held my breath, I was almost amazed by the strong sensation of my nerves if it weren't for the fearful effect it had on me. Every part of my body was telling me not to go to school.

Without thinking I instinctively turned around to look at my aunt only to discover she was nowhere to be seen.

That was strange, I looked away for only a second. And I didn't even hear the car drive off.

Then I realized if I stood around like an idiot any longer I was going to be really late for class. So I ran to the school. Every step I took felt wrong but I tried to ignore it.

But I did it, I got into the school. I stopped for only a moment to look around the entrance to check for any demons. No one was there.

I was terrified, I could always guess how close a demon was to me judging by how strong my nerves were. Yet the strength I was detecting now has surpassed any other previous demon encounter I've ever had and I still haven't seen the demon.

I walked as quickly as I could, at this point I wasn't sure If I was rushing to make it to class in time or that I was rushing in hopes of getting rid of this feeling of dread.

I made it to the second floor and now all I had to do was walk down this hallway, take a turn to the right and walk down that hallway and I'll reach my class.

I quickened my pace, I felt like every footstep I took I could hear inside my head, it hurt but I didn't react to it.

I reached the bend. I turned the corner. Then everything slowed down. I had almost bumped into someone, someone red, with horns. A demon. I looked down at it and froze. A little gasp came out of me.

I put my hands up to my mouth and stared at it in horror. I felt weightless, lightheaded. Suddenly everything felt so silent.

It was the goblin demon. He looked at me with a furrowed brow then slightly tilted his head. I stared into his eyes, I panted, he had yellow eyes like honey with cat like eyes. It felt like he was staring into my soul.

Then he said something, It sounded foreign but I wasn't sure what language. Then he straightened his back, his pupils shrunk.

"You..." he whispered. "You can see me?" He said with a strange accent.

A chill ran down my spine. My nerves screamed. As soon as he finished his sentence my nerves kicked into overdrive and told me to run. Hide, to just get as far away as possible.

I was shaking, still frozen, staring into the demons' eyes.

I felt like my eyes were a tv screen, my body began to move on its own.

My head slowly turned up and I felt my legs move. I was going to pretend I didn't see him.

I walked through him, I phased through him like I thought I would. Every step I took I didn't feel right, I only felt the pressure of the floor but yet I felt so weightless. He tried getting my attention again.
