Mangle's POV:
Mangle stood pressed against Foxy as they stood by the Game Room. Balloon Boy was on the carousel, sitting next to Marionette and yawned. "Why did Goldie have to leave?" He questioned with a glance at Marionette.
"Because I would have punched his face in if he stayed." Freddy growled, a scowl on his face. "It's good that he is gone, he always caused trouble."
Marionette shrugged, "But he was still a good friend."
"Friend? A good friend?" Bonnie snorted, "As if."
"No seriously," The Puppet insisted, "Goldie may have been a dramatic, power-hungry control freak but he protected us. And he wasn't always grumpy around me. We used to have great fun before.."
"Protected us? How? By trying to kill us? By trapping us inside this pizzaria? By lying to us?" Bonnie retorted with a frown. "Sorry, Puppet, but I don't believe Golden Freddy was ever a good friend to us."
Freddy nodded in agreement and folded his arms against his chest, "I'm with Bonnie on this."
Marionette glared at Bonnie and Freddy, "Fine, believe what you want. I don't care." He stood up and stalked away and towards the Prize Corner. He climbed into his box and closed the lid.
Rain went after him but Bonnie held her back with a firm hand. "Let him be."
Rain sighed and hugged Bonnie close to her. "Why do you animatronics always fight?"
Bonnie blinked and twitched his ears, "I don't know... I've never been asked that before."
Mangle had been silent during the whole conversation but decided to join in. "It's how it had always been. Maybe when we were programmed, they accidentally raised our aggressiveness!" She joked.
Foxy chuckled beside Mangle and squeezed her hand, "Probably."

Foxy's POV:
As the sun set and darkness fell upon the pizzaria, Foxy was just about to power down for a bit in Parts/Service but instead he was greeted by Rain. The white and blue wolf animatronic stared up at Foxy with pleading eyes, "Come with me. I want to tell Marionette something."
"Why can't you go on your own?" Foxy asked with narrowed eyes.
"Because..." Rain shrugged, "Because I feel safer with you around." She met Foxy's gaze, her blue eyes round and pleading.
Foxy couldn't resist Rain's cute eyes and muttered, "Fine. Lead the way." He followed Rain out of Parts/Service and down the hall. They passed the show stage to see Toy Freddy and Toy Chica resting against the wall together, talking in hushed voices.
Rain yanked on Foxy's arm, "Don't stare!" The young girl ordered and tugged Foxy towards the Prize Corner. "Oh, and you are asking Marionette."
"What do I have to ask?" Foxy raised an eyebrow.
Rain stood up on her toes and whispered in Foxy's ear, "I want to go out into town again. Live like a proper person again."
"But you're an animatronic now! You can't go out there! According to the humans, you are dead! I am not asking Marionette something like that!" Foxy protested.
"Well technically, my human form is different from before my death. Remember I now have blue streaks in my hair? And as long as I wear a hoodie with the hood up, no one will recognise me!" Rain countered.
Foxy groaned inwardly and mumbled, "Fine."
Rain whispered, "Yes!" She threw her fist in the air. "Come on!" She dragged Foxy the rest of the way to Marionette's box. Foxy stepped forwards and prepared to knock on the lid but Rain whispered, "Hurry up!" and pushed him forwards. Foxy tripped and fell on the box, tipping it over. The present box fell on top of Foxy and he grunted and threw it off.
"WILL YOU STOP THAT!" Came Marionette's raging voice from inside the box. Foxy looked up from the ground to see Marionette leap out of his box and stalk over to Foxy, "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"
Foxy scooted away and yelled accusingly, "Rain pushed me!"
Marionette spun around to face Rain to see her squeak and cower behind the desk. "Foxy wanted to ask you something!"
As Marionette turned back to Foxy, he yelled back, "Because Rain was too scared to ask you herself!"
It was like a game of ping pong between Rain and Foxy and in the end, Marionette grabbed both of them by the ears and shoved them in front of him. "WHAT DID YOU WANT TO ASK ME?"
"I want to... go out... into the.. human.. town." Rain whispered in a small voice.
"YOU WHAT?!" Marionette shrieked and curled his hands into fists.
Foxy moved protectively in front of Rain, "Wait! Marionette please consider that Rain is desperate to go outside! Please let us go out! We won't be long! Plus, Rain knows the town like the back of her hand, she would make sure we don't get into trouble!"
Marionette growled, "It's not even been 24 hours since Goldie left and you're asking to break one of his most important rules?!"
Foxy avoided the puppet's gaze, "...Yes..."
Marionette sighed heavily and ran his hands down his face, "Fine. Leave now. But be back by dawn, you hear me?"
"Yes!!" Rain squealed and bounced up and down.
Foxy stared at Marionette in disbelief. "R-really?"
"Yes. Go now before I change my mind!" The puppet pointed towards the main doors, which still stood unlocked from when Vincent broke in.
Rain giggled hysterically and grabbed onto Foxy's hand, "Let's go!" She tugged Foxy towards the doors and changed into her human form mid-run. Foxy did the same and stumbled slightly as they opened the doors.
Foxy was tugged outside by Rain and he tripped on the gravel but stayed upright. "Rain slow down! I'm not as used to being human as you are!"But Rain didn't listen, she just kept running.
Foxy fought to keep his balance but ended up face-planting on the pavement after tripping over a loose stone. "Ow." He muttered and sat up, poking his nose. Even though his human nose didn't stick out as much as his normal snout, it still hurt to knock it on hard surfaces.
Rain circled Foxy energetically. "Get up! Get up! Get up!" She yelled and pulled Foxy to his feet.
Foxy rolled his eyed, "Alright!" He chuckled and jogged after Rain as she sprinted off down the pavement. It was sure going to be fun keeping up with Rain if she was this energetic.
Foxy felt a grin play on his lips.
It was nice to be out again.
