"Mmm, he's coming over here later. Shanshan, don't say things like that again in the future, especially in front of your cousin. I believe that sister has a special spot in Hanbin's heart and I don't want everyone to have such a negative perception of her," Luna told her.
"Alright, alright, I got it! I won't talk about it anymore. Everyone knows anyway. Moreover, now that you're my cousin-in-law, I'm not really worried."
"Shanshan, when will you find your special someone too? You're not that young anymore. Hanbin and I have found each other. I hope you can find your happiness too. There are a lot of outstanding guys around you. Don't you like any of them?" Luna smiled, her eyes full of concern.
Shanshan was startled when she heard Luna's words. Her smile froze and her mind went blank as a handsome face appeared in her mind...
Luna laughed and asked quietly, "Are you thinking of someone? The look on your face..."
Shanshan smiled embarrassedly. "I'm not telling you even if I'm thinking of someone."
"Tell me. Maybe Hanbin and I can help!" A gentle light glowed in Luna's eyes as she laughed.
"Okay, I'll definitely tell you if there is one in the future. Wish me good luck tonight!" Shanshan replied, but her eyes were already staring away somewhere blankly.
Luna looked at the reflection of Shanshan's pretty little face in the mirror. She did not miss her blank stare as well. Although she thought of something to tell her, she refrained herself from doing so when she saw Shanshan suddenly grin.
After a while, the makeup artists were done with their makeup.
Luna only put on light makeup. As for Shanshan, she put on rather heavy makeup to pair with the bright red dress on her. They looked pretty great.
"Luna, give Cousin a call. My company CEO will be here soon. I'll meet up with him first. I don't want to leave him waiting." Shanshan lifted her long dress up a little and gazed at herself in the mirror cheerfully as she spoke.
Luna nodded. "Okay, you can go first. I'll call Hanbin now."
"Mmm, see you there later. I'm looking forward to you topping all the other ladies there! Get your groove on!"
Shanshan grabbed her handbag and walked outside. Suddenly, Luna called out to her, "Shanshan, wait!"
"Anything else?" Shanshan halted in her steps when Luna called her. She looked in Luna's direction in surprise.
Luna swiftly opened her handbag and took out a bright jade bracelet. Then, she went over to Shanshan and grabbed her fair little hand, putting the bracelet on for her. The jade bracelet looked amazing on Shanshan's snow-white skin.
Luna grabbed Shanshan's hand lightly. "What do you think? I think it looks great on you!"
"Luna..."
Shanshan was touched as she looked at the bracelet on her hand before turning to Luna gratefully. "This bracelet... Isn't it a birthday present from Cousin?"
"I'll give it to you. It suits you more anyway and you look great! Pairing it with your outfit is just perfect!"
Luna smiled as she zipped her handbag up and gave Shanshan another big smile as the girl did not seem to know what to do. "It's really nothing compared to how well you treat me! Go and meet your CEO now and don't let him wait. Go!"
She pushed Shanshan out.
Shanshan expressed her gratitude profusely, "Mmm, thank you, Luna! You're the bestest friend ever! I'll head out for now, and I'll look for you guys later!"
