Turns out my brother did some stuff to this. Not pleased with him at all.

The wind brushed through the long, fragile grass as cats tasseled around.

A tall younger She-cat gazed down at her clan, eyeing them as each cat below her did their duties as if a battle was not about to erupt. A battle that would send the pink, orange, and a bit of purple sky swirling like a disturbed river. A battle that would send scarlet rain onto the grass and into the earth's heart.

The She-cat had almost all-white fur, except some striped soft brown patches that clung onto her lower back, throat, and half of her face. Her fur was short yet it still looked messy and not groomed, and you could almost say it was as if she had just rolled in the dry ground covering their flat forest camp. Her eyes were a gentle amber that seemed stressed and panicked with guilt glittering somewhere in those poor wide eyes.

She waited a few more seconds before standing up onto her shaking legs and lashing her stub of a tail. A yowl escaped her mouth, a yowl she wished she could take back.

"Acornstar is calling!" The clan deputy, Beesting, called.

The deputy was sitting right next to Acornstar on the huge stump. The stump was torn down by a terrible wind that had taken the previous leader's life. 'Cursed' some said in low voices.

Every cat froze from what they were doing, already knowing what was about to happen.

Acornstar sighed as she watched her clanmates gather under her, ready for her to lead them into battle without a second thought. She wondered if this battle with the frightful DawnClan was worth it.

"Okay. I want Beesting, Sunfeather, Lightfur, Canarysong, Hawksnarl, Vixenpaw, and Harepel-"

"Wait!"

The young leader snapped her head to Lightfur, who was looking wide-eyed at the stone-lined entrance.

The fluffy black and white muzzled deputy let her neck fur bristle at the sight of the DawnClan leader, Flowstar, standing just inside the camp followed by many warriors and a trembling medicine cat who no one knew.

"Acornstar, your reason to fight is unnecessary. We all know you will never win this forest back! Get out of your camp now or else!" Flowstar hissed in a smooth yet hostile voice.

Every cat tensed at the look of Flowstar. His marble ginger and white fur was well-groomed and his body build looked so threatening. Scars lined his face and legs giving off an evil look.

Every sense told Acornstar to run as far as she could away from this Tom who was ready to claw cats freedom apart with every inch of strength he has.

"So we lost the bet. I wasn't the leader when the bet was made though." Acornstar managed to leap off the stump awkwardly onto some dry ground, kicking up dust that watered the deputies' horrified violet eyes.

Flowstar paused for a moment looking away, then back even more annoyed than before. His blue eyes became narrowed and more terrifying which was almost impossible.

"So Duckstar is passed? A bet is a bet. You were the deputy too when he announced it."

The DawnClan cats yowled their agreement. Some sounded angry. Some sounded sad. Yet the majority of them just sounded scared for some odd reason.

On the other side, LichenClan was hissing and spitting. Their protests disrupted the noon breeze, it was as if their cries were shaking the fresh tall pine trees that made up all of their territory.

It would be no surprise if they scared off all the wood pigeons that dotted the long-lasting green trees too.

"Silence all of you!" Beesting hissed, lashing his tail looking angry.

LichenClan grumbled a bit more before settling down to a quiet hostile whisper.

"Flowstar, please leave LichenClans camp and never return. Duckstar is dead! Please respect that!" Acornstar said, sounding calmer than she really was.

Heart battling against her chest she added, "Also we can talk about this later."

A well-respected Dawnclan warrior, Cherrystorm, limped forward to face the rivaling clans.

Their once beautiful golden pelt covered in black spangles was now just patchy and ripped up, not appealing to the average eye.

"I think we should still fight it out. It would be a waste of time for us to just come here anyway." They exclaimed, sounding confident and tired.

"Stupid old cat being lazy." The brown patched She-cat overheard Vixenpaw yowl loud enough for all the clans to hear.

Flowstar took a step forward. "We shall fight this out with no hesitation." He hissed, neck fur bristling like tall spiked rocks.

LichenClan didn't hesitate to jump to their paws.

Acornstar waited for the attack sign. Then it hit her hard with embarrassment, she had to make the call!

"LichenClan, may you not kill yet just attack and let them never forget of our claws ripping into their pelts." She said.

Her cats rushed past her yowling their battle cries.

Acornstar felt her fur being whipped forward at how fast her warriors were leaping by.

The sound of screeches and yowls filled the air, making cats' ears pin against their heads as blood flashed before their very own eyes.

"You will regret this Flowstar. I swear."

I made sure to check it over a bit and didn't notice any grammar and spelling mistakes. I might have some that I didn't notice so you know-
