If I stop breathing and stand perfectly still,
The world around ceases its motion and quiets its bustle,
My vision altered by a dark vignette enveloping the scene.
As the scant crowds making their commute slow to a crawling pace,
The empty space between each thumping beat of my heart grows longer.
My head is heavy, yet clear,
And a slight tingling in my legs and arms slowly evolves into a full numb sensation.
with nothing but the warmth of the sun, I drift into peace.
Until I open my eyes,
And the forces of the earth violently command control of my perception once again
