When he woke up

"Illumi. I've been waiting for you to wake up."

"Chrollo..."Illumi gritted his teeth as he looked up at his soon-to-be husband.

"What's wrong 'Illu?'" Chrollo made air quotes, mocking the prince and the servants' earlier interactions.

"How long have you been watching me?" Illumi stood up from Hisoka's lap slowly walking toward the other man.

"How would you like to know? First, tell me what you're doing mingling with this peasant? I thought you were better than this my dear."

"Chrollo, you know that what we have is fully business. If I want to have a relationship outside of this arrangement, I will. I'm not affiliated with this man anyway. I just felt bad for how pathetic the thing is" Illumi walked back inside of the castle leaving Hisoka alone as he made his way to his room. "And don't follow me Chrollo. You have no place here."

Illumi shut the door and fell on his bed. "I can't believe I fell asleep next to that clown, or let him braid my hair." Illumi vowed to himself to never treat the man more than what he was...simply a servant.

Then, Illumi heard three loud knocks on the door. Assuming it was a maid coming to clean his room, the prince opened it.

On the other side of the door stood a familiar man the prince was not quite fond of. "Chrollo...what did I tell you about- '' The prince's words were cut off by the other man grabbing his waist and pulling him in for a kiss.

Illumi was shocked, he didn't want to kiss this man, but that's what was happening. If anyone else saw them doing this in the entryway, they would assume they were in love, but this love was one-sided, for the assassin only married this man for his riches.

"Don't be so rude, kiss me back dear." Chrollo slowly moved his hand down towards the back of the long-haired man's pants.

Illumi had enough and shoved the disgusting man off of him. With one quick move, the assassin kicked Chrollo to the floor causing him to grunt.

"What the hell Illumi? Chrollo got up and turned back "You'll pay for this..."

Garnered by what had just happened, Illumi got up to tell Hisoka to leave before he got into any trouble. Even if he were any other servant, the prince would still do anything in his power to get them out of his father's punishments for he had seen and felt what the king would do.

Illumi took a deep breath and walked out of his room to the garden. "Hisoka. Let's go"
