CHAPTER 2

One last look in the mirror before Hyunjin goes out to meet his friends. He's wearing a floral black shirt dress inside, a maroon blazer and pants, embedded with a bunch of flowers of different colors on his blazer. He matches it with his dark brown boots that make him look longer. He's also wearing silver eyeshadow and his cheekbones are highlighted with sparkling contour. Applied on his lips is a peach colored lip gloss. One last touch-up, he puts on his tulip boutonnière and leaves the room. It's prom night and he's arrived just in time to see all his friends waiting outside the venue. His friend group consists of Chan, Changbin, Jisung, Felix, Seungmin, Jeongin, and Minho. Yes, Minho and Hyunjin are in the same friend group. They're even called the Tom and Jerry of the group because of their usual banters towards each other. As he goes closer to the group, he can clearly see what the others are wearing. They're all well dressed, of course. They should be well dressed because it was Hyunjin who gave them ideas on what would look good on them. He smiles to himself, seeing how they all followed his suggestions. The last person he sees is Minho, and God does he look dashing. Hyunjin should have known, he was the one who pretty much designed Minho's suit. So how is he still surprised? He is wearing an olive button-down silk shirt, with a black ribbon hanging around his neck. He's wearing a darker shade of green for his blazer and pants, now what type of green is that? Hyunjin plans to study about the names of different colors soon. There's sequins in his suit that accentuates his broad shoulders and small waist. Along with his suit, he's wearing polished black shoes. It's simple, but Minho pulled it off so well. He takes a look at his face and he sees...glitter? Minho is wearing makeup! On his eyes are a glittery brown color, along with a little winged eyeliner. On the tear duct area of his two eyes stick a small white crystal. There's blush on his cheeks and a light shade of pink on his lips. He didn't think Minho would actually glam up for prom because last time they talked about it, Hyunjin remembers Minho saying "I don't really care about these events, I'm only going because I have to." Minho's next action surprises Hyunjin because he pulled out a tulip boutonnière and placed it on the pocket of his suit. "I thought you weren't going to wear one?" "Did I say that? I don't think I did." "You said you didn't want to match with me. When I proposed to you about us matching you looked at me as if it were the worst thing to happen." As Hyunjin accusingly looks at Minho, waiting for an answer, Jisung comments, "You guys act like how my grandma described her relationship with my grandpa before they started dating." "They even have matching boutonnières!" Felix states as if it weren't the most obvious thing. Next came a bunch of teasing noises from the group. Their friends teasing them has become so normal that they don't even get affected by it. They would even play along to get a reaction from them. "Well, Jisung. I'll make sure you'll be the first one to know if Minho and I are dating. Now let's go, the program is about to start."
