Summary: What's better than spending some time away with your lover?

Author's Note: Well, guess who's smitten with the greek??? ME!!!

Warning: ENGLISH IS NOT MY FIRST LANGUAGE

The whole Liverpool's squad were having an international break, the skipper had a vacation with his little family; the scouser was enjoying the sun in Maldives; Robbo, Milner, and Ox were playing golf in Dubai; whilst the Greek had chosen to spend some time in the British countryside with his girlfriend.

Y/n was a nature lover, always enjoying outdoor activities. In fact, she was the one who introduced Kostas to nature and made him fall in love with it. They would mostly spend their break away, hiding from the rest of the world. Once in a while they would hike a mountain or a hill, but often they would just build a tent near the river and make a bonfire for just the two of them, just like this time.

They were building a tent without a single word coming off their lips; they didn't feel like they needed to fill the silence. However, it was strangely comforting. Only the sound of the stream and the chirping birds and crickets filled the air.

"Can you take it from here? I'll set up the chairs and the table," She asked, holding the poles together and tying them up.

He straightened his posture and answered confidently, "Yeah, I've got this, but why are we whispering?"

She chuckled, "Just put the flysheet and pin them on the ground with this," Her voice was a little bit louder this time as she threw a small pouch of pegs at the man.

"Alright, I'll take it from here."

A few minutes after y/n left, Kostas heard her grumbling and moaning. He even heard a few curses here and there as his girlfriend was seen throwing out her belongings from her bag, emptying it.

Y/N turned to Kostas, pulling her bottom lip between her teeth, "I think we forgot them," She sighed with annoyance in her voice.

He chuckled at the sight of her, she looked adorable. He thought.

"Have you searched them thoroughly?"

She nodded.

"Weird,"

"I swear I've put them in," Y/n rubbed her face with her hands, "How are we supposed to fish, then?" She looked devastated as she squatted, resting her chin between her palms. Her eyes were never leaving his.

"In my bag?"

Her eyebrows furrowed as she let out a 'huh' sound.

He pinned the last hole of the flysheet to the ground and headed to where she was. "Have you taken a look in my bag?"

She shook her head and stood abruptly, heading to where the bags were and began to unpack. There they were! Indeed in his bag instead of hers. Kostas called her and her ears perked up at the sound. "Found it!" She exclaimed happily, her face beaming.

"How did they end up in your bag by the way?" She wondered but shrugged her shoulders, "ah, nevermind."

"Here, let me help,"

"No, it's okay. You can take the fishing rods instead."

Kostas didn't budge, silently asking if she were sure.

"Baby, I've done this a million times," She assured him. Both of the folded chairs were in her hands whilst the table was tucked under her left armpit.

Kostas nodded, ruffling her hair and leaned in to press his lips on her. He came back with hands full of fishing tackle and dropped them on the ground once he reached where she sat.
