I closed my eyes; tossed and turned, yearning to sleep, with frustration I finally decided to go down and get snacks from the fridge.
I munched on a chip as I made my way back to my room; planning to go and sit on the roof top and gaze at the stars until I got some sleep .
Climbing(sneaking) out of my window to climb up to the roof; I held the bag of chips with my teeth as my hands worked to reach the top.

''Ah its a full moon'' I whispered to myself satisfied as I finally reached the top
''with many stars too'' replied a voice that I at once recognized
''WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE AT THIS TIME'' I questioned; a little louder than a whisper, filled with a little shock
''Well, I'm insomniac and the sky looked pretty so I figured I'd come and sit here, btw what are you, doing here now''
'' want chips? '' I asked not responding to his question, and leaning over to his roof
'' what're you doing here'' he asked again
'' wasn't sleepy'' I replied dryly
''I'm gonna jump over there, wanna see?'' (Caleb said indicating to my side)
'' no way, you aren't- ''
''well if you don't want me too'' he replied as he settled back down on his roof to lie down
''no wait okay come over'' I replied, thinking it'd be really fun to star gaze with someone especially if it was someone you've started having warm fuzzy feelings for recently (cough)
''okay I'm coming over'' he said flexing and stretching to take a small leap-
~*(falling in love all over again)*
we both lay down together staring at the night sky filled with little twinkling stars and dominated by the moon that was present in a full circle
''Its so pretty'' I awed
''beautiful'' he said
I assumed he said that to the sky
-but little did someone know who he was looking at as he said those words🤭
the silent love that remained
