The sound of thunder woke me up at about 4 am, the creaking of the floor above me made me froze. I was at the top floor of my three-story house, the attic, was made it into my room as soon as we moved in. Plus, I am alone, my cousin works at night. Wait no... That is not right... She disappeared 4 months ago...

All of her stuff is still in her room, nothing change it is like it was frozen in time. I did not even open since then. The creaking was heard once again and my ear started to ring, it was not bothering me but kind of painful still, it was kind of a needle poking my ear. Then a loud thud resonated throughout the whole house in addition of fear I ran to the staircase and raced down to see what it was. At the corner of the dining room was a really old lamp that is lite up, I always leave a light on for Lili in case she comes back. I hope she does one day... On the kitchen's window was a folded paper with a feather next to it. Could it be from the person who is responsible for my cousin's disappearance? If yes, then it is quite amusing that there is a feather since she hates birds. Oh! It is an envelope, it has a necklace inside, the color is beautiful, it is a pretty dull blue/gray color. A letter is in it too the handwriting is really neat but the way it is wrote it looks old I didn't bother reading and skipped to the end to see who sent and/or wrote it. On the bottom, in this pretty writing is written a no so pretty sentence: "For Lili, pass onto Zoé, last said <dead>".

? What in the heck does it means?
