Ella groaned as she bolted upright from her bed, screams from downstairs were definitely not helping her sleep properly. But how was she suppose to sleep if she can't calm down three kids?

Ella took a deep breath and bit her lip when the daily lightning voices punched through her mind. Every time it's like this. Sure she was an Aerokinetic but she wasn't suppose to feel emotions or hear voices. Only an Empath and a Telepath can do that, and last time she checked she only had the power as an Aerokinetic, so why?

It doesn't matter. Ella thought. At least not while she has to take care of three kids who were always crying, fighting, and almost blowing the whole building down if it wasn't for her trying to trick them into sending them to a carnival or shopping. But deep down Ella knew she couldn't even do that, even if they had did their very best and have behave very well. She knew that people would despise them, mock them, see them as God's, and so much more. But there was one thing that Ella hoped the day wouldn't come...

...if the Victorious Death comes.

Ella shook the thought off her head as she slipped into the hot, warm shower and dried herself off. Then she changed into her teal slip dress and tied her hair into a braid. She gulped down water from her throat and went downstairs, finding the twins in a heated argument and Jewel just sitting there and clapping her hands like a regular baby...well except for the fact that she was floating in midair.

"What's the bother now?" Ella asked as she scooped up Jewel from the air and patted her in the head. "Is it your teddy bear again?" She wasn't surprise if it is because they have always been arguing about their teddy bear, the really loved it and didn't want to have another one, but it was only on and they were twins.

"No! I want a boyfriend!" Portia whined. "But Alex won't let me have one!"

"Your too young that's why!" Alex argued. "And still no!"

Ella tried not to laugh. Alex being the overprotective brother was understandable, but he was also so cute to be the protective one even if he was younger than Portia. Plus the adorable face was a bonus to the cute personality of the raven-haired kid.

"Alex is right Portia. You're still nine years old, and your far too young to have a boyfriend."

"Mom please!" Portia begged. "I really want to! I'm so lonely here, Alex keeps on picking up fights with me, and Jewel is just 2 years old! Mother please!"

Ella studied Portia and wanted to laugh but a smile twitched from her lips as she patted Portia's pink-haired hair and looked at her magenta eyes, Jewel and Portia really did look the same, the only difference was Jewel's eyes were golden. It was way too adorable to see her pout, and it was priceless to see the smile on her face when Ella nodded.

"I won't allow you to have a boyfriend just yet, but maybe I can give you a friend to play with." Ella promised as she held up her pinky, Portia needed to find a friend herself, she couldn't just be isolated in her own house and not have fun, she needed to experience the fun in her life. Not living her life only to be barricaded by her adopted mother.

"And you," Ella turned her head to Alex. "I will find you a friend as well. Maybe we can go outside after all."

"REALLY?!" Portia and Alex screamed and jumped up and down, Portia started to teleport everywhere and Alex started to break furniture's. Ella wanted to dunk them all in the water and make them clean all the stuff they had broken. But instead a happy smile curled from Ella's lips as she watched them happily dancing, even Jewel was giggling.

Ella patted Jewel's head and brushed her hair then she collapse to a nearby chair and tried not to think about the darkness. But her brain couldn't push it away and the horrifying though flashed through her mind.

Portia and Alex and Jewel could be in danger, they could be kidnapped, they could be experimented, and worse. They could be killed.

"No," Ella shook her head. "That will never happen. There safe, and they will always be."

Ella stood up from her seat and walked to the hallway, Jewel looked at her confused as she reached the light that had a purple crystal.

"Don't tell them." Ella whispered to her as she pulled it and suddenly a hologram appeared.

"Lyna," Ella whispered as she stared at the screen and saw her friends lined up together. At one picture it was her, Lyna, Ash, Diane, Gray, Matteo, Eliana, Carlos, and Ricky were standing straight and tall with their stances and they looked ready to fight, at one picture it was them but instead of them being serious they were being themselves, Ella was jumping high while Ash was trying to catch her, Matteo was at the front looking so down while Gray seemed to be laughing at the side and Lyna was trying to push Ricky, Eliana was the one curling herself into a ball and being her emo self, Carlos was joking around to Matteo and Diane was the only person who post like a beauty queen. "I miss you."

She felt a few tears trickled down her cheeks as the happy and negative memories came rushing in, and with her photographic memory she had clearly remembered everything she had done with them, what they did, and what goals they achieved during the past years. Ella closed her eyes and let the memories sink in and it felt good to have photographic memory to remember the stuff clearly. It was so good that they were in her life.

She opened her eyes and clutched her chest. "I can do this mess. I can find a friend for them," Ella looked back at the hologram. "Just like how you became friends with me."
