August 13th 1902
It was a bright summers afternoon in the middle of August. The bell chimed loudly across the town, announcing the birth of the royal twins. One a boy, one a girl.
Upon the chimes, the townspeople gathered around the balcony to greet the King and Queen. Moments later, the Queen and King appeared, holding one child in each of their arms.
"Princess Hiro, Prince Haru," one of the butlers announced. The two royal rulers glanced at their children, and looked at the crowd.
"We're very glad to announce the birth of our two adorable twins today, the future heirs to the royal throne later on." the queen beamed, smiling proudly.
The Averleint Royal Family was finally complete. Queen Kei, King Masaaki, Princess Hiro and Prince Haru. A perfect family, as nothing could go wrong now..
Princess Hiro. A beautiful bundle of light. Short blonde hair, ocean blue eyes, skin like the moon, as clear as the sky on a cloudless summer day. Wrapped up in a saffron yellow cloth, being cradled in her mothers arms.
Prince Haru. A soft and gentle thing. His appearance matching his sisters almost identically, with blonde hair and soft blue eyes. His skin fair and light. The boy was also wrapped in a saffron cloth, yet, being held in his fathers arms.
The two twins were classed as miracles throughout the town, as twin children barely made it passed birth due to poor medical supplies and poor health.
The king and queen were quick to fall deeply in love with the newborn miracles, as of that their appearances as beautiful as such attracted anybody near enough to be put under a spell of warmth, tenderness and affection towards them.
The butlers, maids, servants and everyone of the town adored the twins, knowing how successful and generous they would be in the future.
Oh how they were wrong. So very wrong..
