"Ugh, why do I always have a bad ending in this stupid game!?" I glared at my phone. If I get another bad ending—you know what, that's it." I exited the game and took a deep breath, putting my phone down on my nightstand and looking at it. "I can't believe Michelle convinced me to play this stupid game."

Flashback 3rd POV
The school bell echoes through the classroom and outside it is a sign that school is over. Everyone starts to pack up to go home or they have a club meeting after school. Y/n packs her things and hears her teacher saying."Okay, everyone time to go home or go to your club, I'll see y'all tomorrow, and make sure to read chapter 8 on 'Outsiders' We'll have it tested next Friday." 'Mr. Wright hasn't changed a bit since his daughter went missing last spring.' I thought to myself until I jumped when my best friend, Michelle slammed her hand on my desk. "Earth to Y/n?" I look at Michelle with a surprised look. "Jesus, Michelle you scare the crap out of me!" Michelle gives me a playful look on her face.

"Whatever y/n, anyways what are you doing after school?" I stop packing and respond to Michelle's question. "Well, my mom texted me to go to the grocery store to buy some vegetables and I'm heading home."

"Lame~" Michelle stated as I put my binder in my backpack. "Anyway, did you hear that AnimeYtsoon announced their new game!"
"No, what game did they announce this time?" Michelle pulled out her phone from her jacket and showed me the game. "It's a Dating simulator with your favorite anime-"

Before Michelle finished her sentence she was interrupted by the door opening and it was my friend Rei. "I have been waiting for you guys for the past five minutes!" Oh God, I forgot that Rei was waiting for me because ask Rei if she comes with me to help me carry groceries because I hate carrying them all the way home. " Sorry Rei, I was showing Y/n a new game that AnimeYtsoon just announced." Michelle put her hand behind her head.

"Wait, you said that AnimeYtsoon announced a new game?" Rei stepped towards Michelle, glaring at her. "Michelle, I thought we promised not to play AnimeYts stupid games!"  Rei shouts at Michelle and I saw her veins popping out from her head making her look furious. "I know Rei but the AnimeYtsoon games can be fun sometimes." Michelle stumbles as she meets angry Rei.

"Rei calms down, we know AnimeYts can be a bad gaming Company but please calm down." I quickly stated and watched Rei taking a deep breath because she has bad anger issues. "Remember bad rumors about AnimeYts and their games? There are a lot of missing teens/ young adults cases around the world." Rei crossed her arms and continued the conversation. "Family members try to sue the AnimeYtsoon because they might be behind these missing cases." "Yeah, I hear about AnimeYtsoon threatening the family members trying to sue them." Michelle buts in conversation. "If I remember correctly, Mr. Wright has tried to sue AnimeYtsoon ever since-" Before Michelle could finish her sentence Rei said. "Don't you say her name, McCarthy!" Michelle jumped after Rei said her last. Usually, when Rei gets annoyed or mad she says someone's last name but I don't see anger, I see sadness on her face.

"I will be outside in front of the gates and don't make me wait for you too long, Y/n." Rei walks to the door and closes it leaving silence in this room. The silence was broken when Michelle started cussing to herself. "Damnit, Michelle you screw this shit up this time." Michelle throws a pencil on the floor and hits her hand on the desk. "Mich-" " Forget it Y/n, just leave me here." Michelle turned her back and I stared at her for a minute then Michelle started to talk again. "You better take off before Rei starts walking home by herself, Rei can be impatient sometimes," Michelle said in a sad tone in her voice. I grab my backpack and I look at Michelle one last time before I leave the room Michelle said something that makes me turn around and make me look confused. "Please play the dating simulator Y/n, save them, and free them from this hellish nightmare."

('To this day, I still don't know what's wrong with Michelle's behavior for the past few weeks.') ('She keeps telling me to play this game for no reason.') I am still glaring at my phone and remembering Michelle's weird behavior. I remember the computer lab incident yesterday where Michelle tried to hack the school network for no reason resulting in her getting detention or other times she keeps texting me all the time like in the morning, in class, after school, and in the evening!? And she keeps wearing that same stained hoodie, ripped jeans, her hair is a mess that hasn't been washed for a day or months, and I didn't forget about her zombified eyes, it creeps me out.

I told her I would play the game sooner or later but when I started playing the game, she stopped texting me and stopped coming to school, I never heard from her again. I tried to call her but she didn't answer. So I ran to her house and knocked on the door of the house and her mother told me why Michelle didn't come to school or answer any of her calls because she was in the hospital...

Her mother told me that Michelle tried to hang herself last night and it shocked me that my best friend was trying to kill herself. She told me yesterday she checked up on Michelle if she was awake but she didn't respond and Michelle's Mother opened the door Then she witnessed her 'died' daughter hang and she saw the knife, stabbed in her stomach. She calls 911 and an ambulance to help her daughter. The rope broke and the result is that her left arm broke from the fall. Michelle's Mom took me to the hospital to see Michelle.
