Maybe he's not all that bad (Sonic X Reader)

You looked up from your book while everyone in the class was already nosily chatting it hurts your ears. “Can’t they all be quieter?” I said softly to myself although my best friend heard it. “Well not everyone is an introvert like you (Y/N).” You just rolled your eyes at her. “Well Blaze the Cat what else can I do?” Yup, your best friend was a princess that everyone treats like crap, but funny no one knows she’s a princess so they’re in big trouble when they find out. And you? You only found out because instead of treating her like everyone else, you were different and invited her to become your friend.

You looked around the class. “Why can’t they just be more quite? I can’t read!!!” You yelled softly once again. Blaze now just ignored you as a mobian walked making all the girls squeal with joy or fandom. “Ugh it’s that hedgehog again isn’t it?” You stated going back to my book. “Yeah, well he’s the savior of many! People love him!”  You ignored her going back to your book “Tch, if he was such a hero-“You stopped you can’t let ANYONE know your past, even if Blaze was your best friend.

You disliked the hedgehog because when the dark tribe came to attack your village where was he? It wasn’t until after everything was destroyed he came to “save” the village. I was lucky I got away in time. You despised him no matter how many lives he saved it won’t make me smile when it was because of him my loved ones were lost. Everyone was like “Leave it to Sonic! Our savior” You suddenly got flashbacks of my parents. Tears started to well up in your eyes.

You put my head down and cried until Sonic came up to you. “Why are you crying miss?” You looked up to see Sonic winking at you. “A smile would fit that pretty face of yours.” He said trying to flatter you. Someone in the class shouted. “She’s always crying!!” Then the entire class started to laugh besides Blaze and Sonic. “Well that’s no way to tr-“Before he could say anything else you slapped him and packed your things up quickly and left “Wait! (Y-“ Blaze tried to call out for you. You flew out to the school yard (You were born in the Light tribe and was given powers okay?) and cried there. “I can’t forgive and forget mom, dad. It’s impossible. I hate him and that’s all there is to it!”

“Miss?” You heard a familiar voice you looked up to see Sonic the Hedgehog. “What are you doing here?” You asked him in a demanding tone. He scratched his head “Well one class started. And are you okay? I don’t get hit in the face every day.” You scoffed at him. “Of course you’ve never experienced pain, you’re the oh so loved Sonic the Hedgehog.” He looked at you. “Seriously what did I ever do to you?!?” You looked at him in the eye menacingly “If I’ve never told anyone else about my past why should I tell you?”

He kept bugging you to tell him. “Ugh! Why are you so persistent?!?!” He smirked at you. “Well, it feels better spilling it all out and having someone comfort you isn’t it?” You looked at the floor. “Now you’re sounding so much like him…like my father…” He looked shocked. “What’s wrong? Family issues?” You finally gave in and nodded you explained everything that happened and he looked at me. “Look I’m really sorry I couldn’t save your tribe, things were happening back at my home town too…” He explained he had problems with his family as well.

You suddenly felt sorry for him. You two kept talking for hours and got closer. You came to a conclusion.

Maybe he’s not all that bad.

Hey guys I'm back with another Sonic X Reader! AND YES THIS ISN'T AS LOVEY DOVEY AS THE OTHERS!!! I am well aware of that fact. (Pushes up glasses trying to sound smart) Hey I TRIED okay? It's not as good 'cuz I'm starting to lose ideas. I'm thinking of just making another one of each like another
