All you could hear is the children laughing and screaming, them tugging at your clothes, biting you. Slapping you over not getting an extra snack at snack time.
You were over this, but the money was good, so you took a deep breath and put on a smile. A wooden block hit you in the face, you could hear giggling ahead of you. The child laughed at the small red mark left on your forehead, you snapped and grabbed the kid, putting them in time out.
" Ah, Y/n! Y/n! Friend! " Sundrop shouted as he ran up to you, excited to tell you about a drawing a kid drew for him. He was rambling on about how colorful it was and how detailed the drawing was. You groaned into your hands as you were trying to keep a drop of your sanity.
" Sun, shut up. I can't even hear my self losing my will to live. " You glared at Sun, he looked at you with a shocked look. You know you can get migraines pretty easy and never knew it would be this bad today. " I'm.. sorry y/n.. " Sundrop said, his head turning to look like he was tilting his head. He pulled you into a hug and gave you a pat.
You felt his arms wrap around you as you sighed softly, hugging him back. It was almost nap time, the one time of day where you could have peace and quiet. Nap time was heaven, no kids around, no screaming, no bright lights.
The kids didn't want to sleep, they had so much energy, a kid ran and hid from Naptime. You had to find the kid and help them go to sleep. After some time of chasing kids around, they went to sleep.
You slid down the wall and put your face in your hands, finally some time to your self. Sundrop sneaked over and sat by you, he nudged you with his arm and patted his shoulder. " Uh.. It's Naptime.. and I'm sure you're tired. Would you like to take a nap? I can wake you up when nap time is over. " He offered with a soft voice, you looked at him and leaned on him, your head gently set on his shoulder.
" Sorry for earlier Sun.. These kids are overwhelming me today and I didn't think I'd have a migraine this bad. " You muttered quietly, he smiled and gave you a peck on your head. " It's alright Sunshine, you rest now. I'll wake you later. " And with that, you dozed off to sleep, it was nice.
