It didn't take Cale long to read through the entire series, and he was currently sorting through the information he gathered from the series, as he was trying to decide who to take with him.

Cale could only take two others with him, so he had to choose wisely.

Choi Han is almost a no brainer as his skill with the sword and experience with fighting monsters from the forest of darkness would be useful, the only downside is that he can't act/lie to save his life.

The children are a no go as much as the kids, especially Raon, would protest I cannot take them there. The kids have done such a wonderful job finding ways to take down enemies without killing them, that I don't want to put them in a situation where murder is the only option.

His Majesty, Emperor Alberu has too many responsibilities that can't be put aside for more than a day or two.

Mary's skill in necromancy would be helpful, but I don't know how the people of that world would treat her.

Either Rosalyn or Eruhaben would be good as both are well versed in magic, though Rosalyn has her responsibilities as tower master to think about, and no doubt Eruhaben would try to recreate anything from that world in ours.

Ron has his responsibilities as the Molan patriarch, and leader of the eastern continent's underworld.

I could take Beacrox as his skill set would be useful, and it would be nice to be able to enjoy his cooking while there.

Bud would also be a good option, even with his position as mercenary king, as Glen would be able to take care of Bud's responsibilities in his absence.

The killer whale Archie would be a good choice, provided that Witira the queen of the whales is willing to lend him out to me for as long as it takes to take down the star stream.

Paseton despite being a mixed blooded whale tribe member is still strong in his own right, and would be easier to get along with than Archie, but there's no way Shickler would let his beloved son go to a world full of chaos and where death is just one misstep away.

Cage's and Jack's divine healing abilities would be useful, and cage's curses would be very helpful as well. Though I doubt that their respective gods would let them go with me, and Jack has his responsibilities as Pope to think of.

I might be able to convince Hannah to go, but I doubt that she'll want to leave her brother's side for very long.

Okay, I've narrowed it down to Choi Han, Beacrox, Eruhaben, Bud, Mary, and maybe Archie.

Now I just need to see who among them would be willing and able to go. Will the god of death even let me take non-humans there?

🥰You guys made a lot of wonderful suggestions for who should go with Cale to ORV, but there's just no way to accommodate them all in this one story. 😔And I needed to narrow it down. So I hope that I gave reasonable explanations as to why some characters couldn't go.🥺Please don't be mad.
