After a long time, heres the update

5months later-
Avni was still captivated in the dark room-
It had been 5months since she had been craving to see her baby
She felt even more helpless on thinking that despite her being alive, her child was still being bottle-fed& she couldnt feed her child even once
All she knew was that he had been named ansh- the name was thought by neil if their was a boy& avni had thought of neavi in case it was a girl
Avni had got to know her son's name when he was of just few days- she had somehow heard her in law's discussion when they were deciding of date for the naamkarann ceremony along with few name suggestions
Everyone had given suggestions but savitri had already made up her mind to name him ansh- in memory of neil- thinking it to be neil's last wish
Although she was sad when the pandit asked about his parents& they told the pandit that both his parents had passed away but she was happy that her child was named as per neil's wish
When avni remembered neil, her face again teared up
Every time she saw herself in the cracked wardrobe mirror, tears trickled down her eyes on seeing herself in the white saree with no bangle, vermilion or nuptial chain
Since she wasnt given sufficient food after her delivery, she had lost alot of weight
She was malnourished& had become weak too
Avni used to feel hungry in initial days but as time flew, she slowly lost appetite as well, resulting in the weight loss
By now, even she had lost hope of neil's return
This mere thought made silent tears moving down her puffy eyes& tear stained cheeks
Avni had even become accustomed to the taunts her in-laws gave her everyday
Kanchan even secretly teased avni by showing her a plate full of tasty dishes but as soon as avni moved her hands forward to take it, kanchan pulled it away& gave avni plate of same old khichdi in all 3 meals

Random afternoon-
After having lunch, avni was laying on the rough floor
When she was pregnant, she was given a mattress to keep the baby comfortable but after delivery, her in laws snatched it& made her sleep on the rough floor with a worn out blanket
She was staring at the ceiling blankly, thinking of all the events after neil left for his mission
She didnt even know whether he was alive or not& she will ever be able to meet him again or not

Tears again made their way down her eyes on remembering neil& ansh
She picked their wedding photo frame from the small table nearby& caressed their smiling faces, remembering how happy they were on their wedding day

Tumhe pata h jab humari shaadi hui thi toh muje laga tha ke tumhari family ne muje accept kar liya h
Par 5 months pehle mene ye realise kia ke ye meri misunderstanding thi& unka pyaar sirf ansh ke aane tak hi tha

Maa& paa disowned me after our marriage& so did mummyji, papaji& naniji

Thinking of all this, slowly her eyes became heavy& she slept off- hoping that she never wakes up again
Meanwhile, prateek was reading the newspaper in drawing room when the bell rang
He got up& opened the door and.....
