Kagoyaku POV

Following Madara, no words are exchanged. I don't mind; I appreciate the time, especially since I get to look around the large house before I'm confined in my room. He stops, looking up at him, our eyes don't part. It's odd, but I like it; his eyes are as dark, almost as dark as mine, they're cold, but they're different.

Looking ahead he opens the door, "This is your room, it has everything you'd need." Stepping inside, I smile, looking around, but before I could say thank you, he was gone. Kindly closing the door behind him; I don't bother him any further; I look through all the nooks and crannies. Opening the door across from me, I smile as the sun shines through the room. Sitting on the balcony, letting the refreshing heat spread through me.

Basking in the peaceful moment it gets interrupted by a loud knock. Turning my head, I stand, "I wonder who that could be."

Opening the door, I look up to see Izuna; I give him a soft smile. "Hello Izuna, what do I owe the pleasure?"

He smiles brightly, "Good to see you again Kagoyaku, I came by so I could show you around and get you some food, I bet you're hungry, so we can grab something along the way."

I nod my head, "Sounds like a plan. Let's go!"

Closing the door behind me, I walk beside Izuna as he leads me through, the large home. Showing me the ins and outs and every place that I would need to know. Then we finally left the home and headed into the village.

We got a lot of stares, or more like I got a lot of stares. It was something I got used to when I came here. I have yet to meet another person with a complexion like mine, but I have also yet to travel all of this traveling rock. I have yet to climb the highest mountains or travel through the deepest caves.

Escaping my thoughts, I listen to Izuna intently, grateful for the kindness he's shown me. Even taking me to one of his favorite places to eat! Picking up some food, I got the opportunity to try something new.

Eating the inarizushi, I blush a bit, enjoying the flavorful food. Despite the cold and curious shoulders I've received, this village is a sight to see.

It's a shame I'll have to leave.

Pushing out of my thoughts once more, I look up at Izuna as he sighs.

I speak up; a bit worried, "What's wrong?"

"I'm sorry, Kagoyaku, for everyone being so rude."

I chuckle a bit, "It's perfectly fine Izuna, after all the travels I've had, you grow used to it. Plus, I bet I'm first of many people's sights. But thank you for caring."

Giving him a bright smile, he flashes me one as well. Continuing a compelling conversation about our likes and the things I've seen we end up back at the compound. Heading back to my room, we quickly notice a figure standing in front of my door.

As we get closer, we see, "Brother?"

Madara turns to us, irritation written all over his face. "Good to see your feeling at home Kagoyaku Sentaiyō."

His tone was clearly showing how angry he was, but it didn't phase me. "It's good to see you too, Madara Uchiha."

Teasingly saying his name, Izuna chuckles, making Madara even more annoyed, staring at me silently. Standing up straight, I look up at him, "What brings you here?"

Sighing, he answers annoyingly, "Well, I came by to show you where you could food, but you weren't here, and I couldn't find you."

"I see, well I'm sorry, but Izuna showed me around and we got something to small eat on the way there, that was a while ago though."

Before Madera could say anything else Izuna speaks up, "Actually I have to meet up with Father, and you should get some more food. A couple of Inarizushi is not enough, Madera can take you for some dinner."

I look up at him, confused at his goofy grin, "Are you sure?"

He nods his head, "Of course! I should get going!" Walking off, he turns and waves at me, "It was good hanging out with you today, Kagoyaku! I'll see you again soon!"

I wave back at him, "Ok, bye Izuna!"

Looking back at Madera he seems just as confused as I was. Saying nothing, he begins to walk away, chuckling, I follow after him, "Lead the way."

Grunting, I ignore it, and after a while, I start to fill the silence, talking about anything and everything that came through my mind. Living most of my life alone, with no company, it's nice to be around someone for a change. And being able to talk with Izuna, was refreshing.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't see him stop. Bumping into him, I quiet down.

"Madera?"

Turning around, he shouts out at me, "Why are you even here, Senju Spy?! Did you really think you could sneak into our ranks and destroy us from the inside?! Did you really think none of us would notice?! Did you really think, this would tip the scale of the war!"

Towering over me, look up at him, "Senju? That name again, your enemy, the one's your fighting."

He scoffs, "Like you don't know."

Sighing, I look up at him, never faltering, showing no fear.

"My name is Kagoyaku Sentaiyō. I'm a traveler. I don't remember my youth, but I've been traveling for as long as I can remember. During my travels, I got caught in a crossfire of a battle, your battle with the Senju, it seems. In the rush to escape, I grew weak, and with little supplies, I wondered, hoping to find a town that would help me. This is not my war or my place to interfere. I hold no anger for the Uchiha, Senju, or anyone else for that matter. And if it makes you and everyone feel more comfortable, I'll leave."

Turning around, I leave him alone, heading back to my room to get my things ready for the morning.

It's moments like these that remind me I'm meant to be alone.
