Peter didn't come home that night.

I felt horrible. I should have thought of what I said, thought of his feelings instead of mine. I didn't though, so this is karma.

Josh forgave me of what I did, and actually helped me finding him. The others though..god they hated me. Tucker couldn't even look at me while Jainey refused to even my questions if Peter is around the area.

It was hopeless now. It was 11 at night and my eyesight was bad and Josh was getting tired. So Josh decided to head back to the house and we'll try tomorrow.

The house was quite and hopeless. Everyone was asleep, snoring and dreaming while I went to bed with regret and upset.

I didn't noticed it at first untill Josh wipped the tears off of my eyes that I was crying.

"Hey...it's okay." Josh whispered

"No it's not!" I sobbed, "He dissapeared."

"He'll be okay." He pulled me in a hug, "He's homeless too, and unlike us he's useto running away."

"What happends if he got lost, or a bear came and ate him..or fuck a crock is eating his head off!" I yelled

Josh quickly put his hand over my mouth and kissed my forehead. "He's alright Fiver!"

"How do you know?" I wimpered resting my head on his shoulder.

"I just do. If you don't believe me, why don't we go on a adventure tomorrow and try to find him."

"Just you and me?"

"Yeah."

"No!" a voice yelled behind us.

It was Jainey.

"I wanna help find Peter!"

"No Jainey, you need to stay here." I insisted.

"No!" She yelled, "I wanna find Peter!"

"No, Jainey, stay here!" Josh yelled.

"No!" She's starting to cry.

"Jainey.." I sighed.

"I wanna find Peter." She's sobbing.

Lets just say, Jainey crying is no fun in the park. The girl can cry a river. Her tears can fill the Mississippi and flow an inch over.

I'm starring at Josh, then at Jainey, back to Josh and he finally sighs, "finee."

Jainey stopped crying and rushed to Josh to hug him while Tucker, Hue, Thomas jumped up out of nowhere yelling, "Me too!"

"For fuck's sake." Josh groaned, "Okay you nerds."

They all cheered and rushed to Josh and Jainey.

I was left out, because I'm the one who fucked things up in the first place.

I sighed and walked into the kitchen to grab some water. It was pitch dark, it was a surprise I didn't trip over anything.

I stared into the window looking at stars and sighed, "I fucked up."

"You didn't." I felt arms wrapped around my waist and a head resting on my boney shoulder.

My arm hugged his bicept as I rested my head on his head. I can stay in this position forever if I could. Him and I...forever.

"Hey..let's dance."

"We have no music.." I questioned.

"Do we?"

"Yeahh.."

He turned around and grabbed my waiste and forced me with his streagth to lean into him.

"Josh..I thought you hated dancing."

"I do."

"Then why do you wanna dance?"

"To make you happy." He smiled and hummed a few bars and I decided to wrapp my arms around his neck and lean into his collar bone.

"And who woulda thought that a cutie pie just like you would have anything to do with a smelly dude like me."

I laughed. I never thought of Josh liking or even paying attention to Nevershoutnever! but here we are..dancing in the dark, in the kitchen, with Josh singing.

"And who woulda thought that you would kiss my cheek in your back yard, on your trampoline last night. I found it hard to believe."

"And I know you're all strung up from a terrible relationship,, he broke you're heart yeah, he tore into pieces but I promice you dear I'll never hurt you like he did."

I didn't know if I was sobbing or laughing..or if it was anything inbetween but it was that state of moment that I was happy Josh actually cared about my feelings and is willing to dance with me.

"So baby please take my hand and youll never be alone again."

Josh hugged tighter and I felt his chest flex as he held me tight. I tried to squeeze harder but my arms were aching and tired. I glanced at Josh's face and he was staring at me with a smile pulled tight and he finally said, "Let's get to bed..we have a long day tomorrow."
