You probably don't notice the small details, but a good (and healthy) breakfast will always help you start the day right. Give it ago, try making a bowl of oatmeal or avocado spread on toast, a full stomach helps you think happy thoughts. Of course, try to avoid unhealthy food (ex: fast food, cake) because it won't only make you gain weight easily but also make you feel sluggish. You can treat yourself to such food every once in a while, just remember, moderation is the key ;)

Kun grumbled to himself, throwing his phone aside as he stumbled out of his bedroom towards the kitchen. Rummaging through his cupboard, his eyes landed on a box of cereal. The first chapter of the eBook flashed across his mind, but Kun shrugged it off, pulling the box out. Grabbing a bowl and the milk, Kun placed them on his coffee table and turned on the television. The news had just started and Kun was getting comfortable when he realised he forgot his spoon. Using the couch for support, he groaned a bit as he stood up once again.
"Good morning, Mr Suh. Why don't you tell us what the weather looks like today?"
Kun hurried back with a spoon and a cup of coffee, which he had conveniently forgotten to make too. Opening the milk carton, he poured just a bit over one-third of the bowl before dumping some cereal inside. Getting comfy, Kun scooped a spoonful into his mouth as he read the back of the cereal box.
"Thank you, Mr Suh. Next, a little girl around 12 years old was reported missing at..."
Kun cocked his head at the news, watching the person on the screen read out the description of the lost child. Turning back to look at his light grey couch finished with colourful pillows on either end, Kun remembered how HE would comment on this type of news, complaining about parents not looking after kids properly and how the parent doesn't deserve a child.

"I'm pretty sure the kid ran away, parents were probably abusive."
"You don't know that," Kun replied with the same amount of defensiveness in his tone, no matter how many times they had this conversation.
"Well, I'm guessing."
"Not everyone's family background is like yours."
"Exactly, and I didn't run away." He waved his spoon around as he told Kun the same reason he said last week when a 16-year-old boy was reported lost.
"Maybe she was kidnapped."
"Yeah right."
"You're hopeless."
"And I'm also yours." He attacked Kun with tickles after that, causing both of them to fall onto the ground in laughter.

Kun smiled to himself, which turned to a frown quickly. So much for the first step of forgetting your ex.
