Playing hard to get

The interview ~ chapter 1

I wake at 05:00am every morning to go for my daily jog. I usually get home by 06:00am to get ready. I have a simple breakfast like a cup of coffee for my busy day ahead.

"Morning Victoria". I say. She is my editor. She can really be a big help
sometimes when I am in a bit of trouble.: I have a deadline to give in some papers papers by the end of the day, but I have a meeting at 10:00am
And it's already 09:00. I have to get  those papers done Vici". I said in frustration.

"It's okay, Bella. I'll look at the papers and see what I can get done for you".Victoria says to me in an reassuring voice.

"Thanks a lot Vic. What would I do without you". I have a look at the time after I thank her. "Oh crap" I say when I see that it as already 09:30 and I'm running late for my meeting. I grab my things and run to my car as I dig through my purse only to see that I left my keys in my office.

I instantly run to my office as if I were running from a murderer to fetch the keys. I get into my car and it's 09:55. I'm officially late.

I start the car and drive.

I get to the board room filled with very serious looking people sitting in their leather chairs staring at me as if I had done something wrong, but I guess I kind if did. I see one seat empty and assume that it's mine." You are late Miss Swan". A deep voice said. "Sorry, Mr lakson. There was heavy traffic on the road I took", I replied thinking of when my high school teacher that was always angry with me when I came more than 30 seconds late.

Mr Lakson is holding a meeting because he wants to invest in a large company.He wants too see  what our company does and what it needs to grow and expand.

We have to show a presentation to him and luckily I'm going last. I have a look in my brief case so I can go over my presentation and i can't seem to find my papers.

"OH DAMN" I shout out thinking that I said it in my head, but clearly not. Everyone is staring at me. "is there a problem, Miss Swan" Mr Lakson asked.

"It seems that I have left my presentation documents in my office." I said feeling very nervous.

"Well then, that shows me that you lack the responsibility to handle a busnuiss and that your business is not ready so you might as well leave now Miss Swan." He said coldly to me.

I didn't reply and picked up my things and walked out silently. That asshole. How dare he!!! If I was the only person in the room with him, he would be laying dead on the floor right now.

I slammed the door as I got into my car and drove back to my office.

I get back to work and walk into the building letting out a sigh of anger
and frustration. "Hey Bella. What's wrong? Did something wrong happen at the meeting, your back early." Victoria asked in concern.

"Nothings wrong okay!" I lied. "No, I know that there is something wrong. Is it your boyfriend? "Victoria said to me as if I was her 16 year old daughter that is going through a teenage phase.

"NO" I yelled in anger. I turned on my heel and walked into my office slamming the door behind me.

I can't go through this any more. I got to my meeting late, then I forget my presentation in my office and was kicked out of the board room. What next is going to ruin my day.

That's it!!! I yell to myself in my head. I need an assistant. I get on the job instantly and put up adds in the newspaper and on our company website.

1 week later
I have looked through all the applications and picked 6 people to interview. The first one was Jessica. She is nice but she's to proud of her breasts. The next one talked way to much about his love life and the next three have no personality.

My last interview comes and it's either him or Jessica. He walks into the room and in my mind right now I'm married to this guy........With kids:)

"Hi my name is Edward cullen,  you must be Miss swan." He said politely and looks into my eyes staring through my soul.

"Uh.....yes." I stutterd, trying to spit out my words. NO. This is work and I am in a relationship. Even though my boyfriend is out of town(like always) it would feel wrong to cheat on him. Even if it were with a seriously hot guy like Edward.

I sit in my office with Edward for an hour and even tough he is hot that, is not the reason why I am going to hier him.

Edward is only four years older than me and that's good because it means that he is more experienced than the rest of those nose pickers.

The interview comes to an end and I see his beautiful green eyes look at me and oh the hair, that amazing messy bronze hair.

"I can tell you now Edward Cullen that you have got the job and I expect to see you on Monday morning." I tried to sound official because I was his boss.

Guys this is my first chapter and i am only 12 years old. I am just trying this out:)
